I did something stupid

Im a very spiritual person, Im not the best example of a Christian but ive come along way.Now the other day I had a few beers and decidied it was a good ida to get a cruifix tattood in between my thumb and pointer finger.The problem is it is upside down when I pray.Along with being a christian I am an anarchist...ANd I know your really not supposed to get tatoos but Im turning it into an anarchy symbol.I already hve a beutiful cross tattood on my arm.But I pray "Father please help me get rid of this obomination on my hand...I did it to honor you but its upside down when i pray.PLease help me get rid of it.In Jesus name Amen

I just realized and looked it up on wikipedia that an upside down cross is the cross of St Peter.So that makes me feel a little better.Im still getting it changed though.

Hey JustinStAnarchy. First of all welcome to CF's.com dear brother in Christ.

Your absolutley right, the Cross of St. Peter is an inverted Latin cross. God knows your heart JustinStAnarchy.. he knows it was an accident. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Another way to look at it, is that the Cross is right side up to anyone looking at your hand when it is held out/down.

When you pray Jesus looks at your heart not your hand. We've all made mistakes and we will all continue to make mistakes. That ink on your hand is just that ink. It has no power - but The Blood of Jesus is still The all powerful Blood that washes all our sins away. He's not mad at you - just ask His forgiveness. I've seen people get saved with pentagrams and obscene pictures tattooed on their bodies. They were not able to get them removed as of yet ( some of these men got saved in jail ) but they are still saved. Man looks on the outward but God looks on the heart. If you've repented you're forgiven and He always hears your prayers. Look on the web for doctors who remove tattoos - until then you are the property of Jesus Christ ink and all. lord we ask that u take all the shame away from justin, we know u r a good lord an that u do miracles all the time. we love u lord. ur always there when we need u threw the bad an good ur always there. p[;ease lord take these feelings away in the name of jesus christ we pray amen.
