I can explain why I struggled with Law of Attraction

Many of the LOA (Law of Attraction) people teach that based on our emotions thoughts and how negative or positive we are then that will pair us up with the reality we find ourselves in. We attract a positive or negative reality depending on our emotions and attitude. Well I know LOA and The Secret is not that popular to more traditional Christian groups so you guys have reassured me a little bit more. LOA and The Secret are not fundamentalist they are more what we would call New Age Philosophy. They believe in a Deity just one that allows us to shape reality due to our beliefs, focus, thoughts etc. To make a long story short it ruined my life and now no matter how often I repent I am convinced I'm going to hell. I even received these strange omens indicating that I was going to hell when I die. Accepting Jesus is easy and doable but I dont know if I can still fend off the weird stuff.

I spent since early 2017 to about now so that is 18 months being blasphemous, angry, and self-pitying. Uttering things I cant repeat on this forum. I thought I triggered a negative response from the Universe in some way and the more I read about LOA and Secret the more regretful, trapped, and depressed I became. One major reason is because LOA seldom offers solutions to those who think their way into bad situations they just tell you to avoid that fate, they also blame anyone who finds themselves in a bad situation as attracting that due to their negative energy. According to the books and teachings of LOA and Secret those who misuse can attract negative consequences whether they want it or not . I believe what they are teaching because I have seen unexplained signs, coincidences, omens appearing due to my negative thoughts. And I feel defeated, out-of-breath, and just so sad. I don't think prayers help because I am just 100% convinced that the Universe is governed and operates on this philosophy.

But the MAIN REASON I'm filled with regret is because these LOA and Secret people basically tell you that if you properly used the Law of Attraction then it guarantees you any desire no matter how peculiar it is it can still be be fulfilled. You just have to have positive enough energy to be a vibrational match for that reality. It makes me filled with woeful regret that my energy is to irreversibly negative and now I cant get what I would like. They practically make the Universe into this Genie instead of a governing force of good and order. So to make a long story short I thought that the difference between me having a great everlasting life and a one way ticket to hell was through this Law where you attract negative or positive things into your life depending on how you are. I actually curiously wonder if God and Jesus govern the Universe based on this philosophy.

FYI the only reason I believe in the Law is because of appirations, omens, coincidences that I had in the past convincing me without reasonable doubt that its true. But its not reassuring because the people who advertise the law like I said before don't offer solutions to people who are up schitts creek without a paddle. This puts me in a difficult situation where I would view God in two ways the merciful father who forgives even the worst trespasses as long as you can repent and forgive the way he does. Or the God of The Law of Attraction who simply governs the universe based on a law where people attract their own positive or negative reality depending on their own thoughts, attitudes and mindset. I hope God is not a God of LOA.

What are you doing meddling into other "laws"? That's where your confusion will lie, focus on the Law that actually counts, the Word.

I find the LOA to basically be what Paul said in Gal. you reap what you sow.
The we have the verses that talk about how we think and speak.
But if we only study verses from the Bible along those lines we get to thinking that its all about us and the work we do. But there is a lot about grace and the free gift of God, about forgiveness and blessings. God desiring mercy and not sacrifice.

I don't see anything in your post that says you only have one ticket and its to hell.

Well my history with LOA is complicated. Many of the problems are self-imposed but I didnt know what I was doing to myself until it was to late. I had issues with negative thinking often blasphemous and hateful think that I always thought reshaped my reality and matched me up with a negative reality. And this is the type of law I thought God follows or at least enforces onto the Universe. So my negative thinking paired me up with a negative reality that I cannot break free from. Everyday feels like I'm trapped with little breathing room. I work menial labor so it doesn't alleviate my stress to be out there all day. I was not really aware of the law initially and only when I saw the negative side effects on myself and those I love did I start to lose my mind and suffer to the extent that I am now.

I know your pain feels very real for the blasphemous and hateful words you have thought. But the fact that your here engaging in conversation tells me that the blood of Jesus will forgive you just as it has me.

Law of Attraction is neither a good or bad thing. Its effects are primarily based on what the user does with it. I misused it by being negative due to my ego, my lack of knowledge of the law, and my persistent anger. My negative mindset cost me so much and the more I see evidence of the Law of Attraction the more I'm convinced by negative omens, coincidences that I'm in trouble and that I created a negative reality. When your stuck in a hellish reality it feels like your carrying the weight of the world around you and the pressure makes you empty and depressed. I also feel separated from God, ostracized by those in Heaven and desperate to feel whole again. I feel that my hate, anger etc. separated my from anything existing in the Heavenly realm. Jesus is great I'd love to ask him the question about Law of Attraction, he may have the answer to it. He never really mentioned the law as being apart of physics or nature. To find out the truth about it I'd have to ask him directly instead of The New Testament, because its not mentioned there.

Isn't that the same concept only in different words?
