I Busted a Tooth!

I Busted a Tooth! (Maybe 2, I am not sure). I broke a piece of a filling off, of either one or 2 teeth.

I have no idea when the dentist will be able to see me. I am also not made of money; I live on a fixed income. I doubt he will be able to see me this week, what with the holiday and all. SIGH....

Thankfully I am NOT in pain! (Thank Jesus for that).

Please pray for continued pain free existence for me, and that I have enough savings to cover it. Thanks.

Oh no! Not fun.
I have 3 broken teeth...for a few weeks now i think... just can't get to DDS...stressful!
I've thought about using chewing gum...and letting it harden to the shape to seal off the air and all... but while that will help keep jaw right, it might breed... :O

Got super glue?

I found something at the pharmacy that plugs the space for now. Hopefully it will hold until further notice. So far it is. I found it near the tooth pain reliever stuff there.

I've crunched teeth so many times in my life it's unbelievable but somehow it always works out in the end. I never knew about any kind of paste stuff you could stick in there though, that would be great !

My piece of filling of tooth broke aswell and It was right after I donated to some ministry so I was mad at God for that "great reward " . Anyways I was so mad that I put the piece back into my tooth and went back to sleep ( quite large like 1/2 of tooth ) but I woke up the next day and It felt from my mouth on bed .
Then I told God that if he is good enought to hold protons and neutrons sticking together then he can hold my tooth together aswell . It did not fall since then and my tooth was never in pain .

Also God knows im cheapsake so I would not go to the dentist again so I would just live with broken tooth .

In USA you can buy plombex or something similar it's temporary filling , or you could make yourself temporary filling like dentists used in 1980 or something .

Zinc Oxide (powder ) + eugenol ( or substract with cove oil ) + salicylic alcohol .

Clean your toothpick , small bowl/plate with salicylic alcohol and put the bottle away .Mix together Zinc Oxide + cove oil/eugenol in very small portions ( like you would be making dough for pizza for ants ) and put it inside your tooth with toothpick after you dry your tooth with hairdryer.
You can put salicylic alcohol inside your tooth before plombing it and dry with hair dryer to better kill bacteria .

It can last for 6 months , will kill bacteria inside of tooth .

edit) Don't eat anything or drink anything after you plomb your tooth for 2-3 hours .

In the past, I have experienced broken fillings, and a crown coming off. It is frightening to feel a hole or a jagged edge on a tooth that is supposed to feel smooth. I didn't experience any pain in any of these times. The dentist can be both a stressful and expensive experience, as well as an inconvenience. Father, thank You that we can go to You, and know You completely understand and empathize with what we are going through. May we trust in You for all our concerns and needs in these situations, and know that You will provide all we need, and the peace to go through it graciously as well. Amen.

My mom has broken her crown many times and soon will get a new one.

I have been rinsing with salt water. I think the Dentist's office is on vaca this week. No response to my calls.

Now my ear aches, which is right next to the tooth that is affected. It is my left ear and the tooth is the lower left wisdom tooth. My throat is also red. The Dentist's office has not yet answered my calls. They are obviously on vacation. What an awful situation!

Can you call a clinic or ER to ask for advice from a nurse??
I like the salt water wash....idea.

Does the DDS not have someone fill in , or an emergency number on their message?? What about a free call to an MD? Or even call the pharmacy to see if they recommend something in the meantime?

I tell you, when it rains it pours! Now my phone died. So I cannot call anyone. Also, I don't own a vehicle, so I cannot just hop on down to the pharmacy and ask Q. However, God provides! All the prayers everyone here have prayed have taken away the pain. No ear ache. No throbbing. I do feel a bit tired is all, but I managed to do all my chores anyway, so God gave me the strength, even so.

My neighbor allowed me to call the phone company, and they are sending me a new phone, so like I said, God is providing.

Thanks to everyone who is praying, please keep those prayers coming! GOD IS AMAZING.
