Thanks Im.

I appreciate the concern. It's just a very odd thing, early this morning about 5am while I was at work I started to feel a little light-headed and dizzy and for a second I htought maybe the soda that I was drinking was getting to me but I thought "No that can't be right, soda never affects me that badly". So I went home from work and it was sort of okay but I still felt kind of funny. At about 6:30 am I frosted some cupcakes I made yesterday and then I hopped on here and started to type that dating thread.
I was halfway through my post when I started feeling dizzy/nauceous again and had to look away from the screen but the head movement made me even more sick. So I qickly finished that post as best as I could and thought that maybe all I needed to do was go to sleep. Well the second I laid down the nausea hit worse than ever and even with my eyes closed the room felt like it was spinning.
That sent me to the bathroom where...if this isn't TMI...there was lots of puking going on until all I was doing was dry heaves, ones so hard it was bringing up stomach bile. I called my mom and she seemed very conderned and worried that I might need to call 911 if I ever felt like I might pass out. Well that kinda scared me because I had actually had a feeling like that a little earlier, like I was going to pass out. (even talking to people made me sick)
So I called my sister and asked her if there was anyone who could watch the kids she nannies so that she can take me to the urgent care center here. She brought me and it was miserable the whole time. In the car...out of the car...I was heaving so hard my stomach was forcing up bile and my throat had started to hurt.
Long story there...HAHAHAHA. I know. But come to find out I have an "inner-inner" ear problem. Not the inner part of your ear that causes an infection and hurts. It's further in and they said it is usually viral and it causes you to feel dizzy and lightheaded, feelings like vertigo. That inner-inner ear deals with your sense of balance and equlibrium and so that's why I felt dizzy and the constant imbalance my body was feeling was causing me to always feel naucous.
They gave me an IV and a few things to try to calm the dizzyness and nausea. I felt mildly better but they weelchaired me out to my sisters car and she slowly brought be in the house and as soon as I was stationary on my bed I was able to be still enough (movements made me so terribly nauceuos) I was able to fall asleep, thank God.
He said it is nothing they can do. Because it's viral it will go away on it's own but I have to suffer nausea and dizzyness for the next couple of days. He said by sunday it should be gone.
But isn't that the oddest thing you have ever heard? I never expected to be something like that.
