I am here and I want to ask a serious question.

Look. I'll admit I'm far from christian. Techniquely, I am catholic but I am far from that. I do not have anything against any faiths, some of the coolest people I know are christian. Oh, and I will now admit, I am a bisexual.

Now, I hope I don't get flamed for this, but I have just heard that it could mean I am gonna go to hell. I had no idea about any of this until recently. I'd like to know: why? Yes, perhaps god didn't mean for humans to be that way but it's not something controllable. You don't suddenly say "I wanna be bi" and that's it. You can't help it. It just happens.

I've never really been too interested in religion in general, but I have been talking about it with my cousin, and I think it actually sounds like fun, and like I said, some of my best friends are christian.

Sexual perversion is condemnable just as any other sin. Because you struggle with a sin I don't particularly struggle with does not mean you are in any more danger of hell than I am, since I'm sure I struggle with sins you do not. Nevertheless, acting out on homosexual urges is sinful and should be fought against with every ounce of your strength. Homosexual/bisexual tendancies are controllable insofar as you refraining to act upon them. For example, a man might be born with a bad temper, but simply because he was "born that way" does not give him the right to act out upon that bad temper whenever he feels the urge. The innateness of an urge within humans in a fallen world has no bearing on its moral justification.

My friend, for whatever reason, be it psychological, sociological, genetic, or something else, you have another struggle to overcome: bisexual urges. Do not be conqured by anything - you are in control of your actions. It may be a hurdle for you to overcome that others don't have to deal with, but hopefully, in the end, you'll be stronger.

You are on your way to hell because you have broken God's law. The penalty for breaking God's law (sinning) is spiritual death--separation from God!! Now we have all broken God's law for there is none righteous-no not one!! The difference between you and a True Christian is that you have not accepted the Gift of Eternal Life. The Gift is that Jesus paid the penalty for your sins past, present, and future. When you truly accept the Gift, then the Spirit of Jesus Christ resurrects your spirit man by coming into your body. You are then Born Again!!! The "catch" if you want to call it that or Caveat is that you will now let Holy Spirit control your life out of thankfulness of Him Saving You. Then, as you develop your relationship with Him He will give you the power to live in Righteousness!! The real question to you is --- Do you really want it. The Gift of Salvation is free but it will cost you everything because Jesus gave his Life to Pay Your Fine.
