Your husband might think that the Orthodox Church is a cult. I hope you can speak to your priest tomorrow.

Pray also to St. Xenia of St. Petersburg. Her husband died in an alcoholic brawl and she prayed and fasted for him, sleeping at his gravesite in his old military uniforms. God granted her a vision in which she saw her husband's soul leaving hell.

I guess that makes us Brothers in Christ I suppose. My trip to Orthodoxy was a 9 year journey before I felt the need to convert.

Actually quite by accident. Was doing a search for an Orthodox forum in Yahoo. This place came up buried quite a few pages down. Good thing I kept searching. It is so nice to share fellowship with fellow Orthodox

I was a member briefly of the Yahoo group but didn't like all the negativity by certain members. CF is much more friendly. PsalmNotes is a great Yahoo Orthodox group.

It's very good to have you here too. I'm always so happy to see new Orthodox members. When I first started posting here, there were only a few of us (like 5 or 6?). Now we are becoming a stronger presence on the board, and many are noticing this.
