Lovebirds did make a simple and very profound statement - and I didn't even notice the rep feature until you mentioned it. But there is that 'thanks' button at the bottom of the posts I'm going to try right now...Could not have stated that better myself. Pity the Rep nazis have stolen the rep button now once and for all.
God adopts us warts and all. He helps us get rid of the warts, and consigns the demons to shoal (Gehenna), where they belong! Then we are remade in God's image!
Moriah does. It crawls to Him from wherever it regains conscious awareness of its need for Him, sometimes quite literally writhing and looking up through the flames on the floor of Hell into His face. Sometimes quite literally fresh from outright visceral encounters and interactions with demonkind. Sometimes hours, days, weeks, months after it has lost its way and sometimes mere seconds or even during the act itself. It does not matter, the pits of degradation, the blackest depths of Hell, with the stench of filth and fornication and depravity all over you and pestilences from the void between the stars crawling your soul you can still throw yourself at His feet and beg His mercy and He will NEVER fail to have compassion on you. He bes not like humans all bound up worrying if they have compassion or forgive one more time will you take advantage of them, will you abuse them, will you playsie for a fool ... He has no such cares for His heart bes pure love what drives out all fear.
This is what I have told those seeking salvation but for some reason not feeling "good enough." Maybe they're LGBT, maybe alcoholic, whatever; I tell them not to worry about changing themselves. Come to Jesus in full drag with gin on your breath, it doesn't matter, just come to Him. He will sort out what is a sin and what isn't, and He will polish you until you shine like the jewel you are. And I promise He will not make anyone into a person they don't like.
Now rep Moriah for that you KNOW it speaks the truth!
How do we give reputation points in this new setup?
I haven't figured that out yet...

No rep button yet!
Thanks!Look at the top right corner of the posts, and you should see a light-bulb symbol next to the post number. That's the rep button.
Thanks!
Someone made that about as intuitive as the ignition lock installed in a hubcap...
By the way, posts that were made before the change don't have that little light bulb and can't be repped.

You need a Rep for that statement too!
If you're in a position to convey suggestions to the administrators, please pass on my request for a bold high-contrast horizontal bar to mark the current post being read in the thread view. I use this view to navigate through the posts in their conversational order, and it is hard to find the current post as I scroll up&down. Currently the current post is marked with a bolded title font, but the contrast against the other posts is poor.I know. Overall, I like the new design, though. Some features are still being tweaked, so it's going to take a while before everything is in final form here.
Thanks. I needed that! Going thru a tough patch right now. Please remember us in your prayers. My wife got laid off over ill health this month.
