I'm not sure what you mean. The training is life. I didn't take his comment to mean that any additional programming should be added to the standard U.S. upbringing. The people who are responsible for children are the ones who are supposed to train them. Primary socialization happens in the home and is the most crucial factor in a person's early development. Then comes school and peer influences.

If life as it is is all that is necessary why did he bring up training at all as we already have that training. I think he meant that training needed to be added . If not, then the age 25 would stand as the only standard for mature thought and anyone under 25 ought to be considered immature.

Actually, someone did at 2 years old, more or less. Did not grow an inch since and her brain is likewise in a similar state. She is around 30 now and experts have been studying her in relation to ageing, non-invasively, I hope. I forgot her name.

There is a difference between not aging and not developing. People, animals things all develop at different rates and stop developing at different times. The aging process takes place after development has stopped as well as while it is going on so this person has not stopped aging only stopped developing.

When I first saw her on TV in her twenties, she looked exactly like a toddler, not a midget.

But yeah maybe when she reaches her forties, signs of ageing would be more apparent

She stopped physically developing at the toddler stage then . I do not know about this case other than what you have posted on it so I do not know if her mental development also ended there. I stopped mentally developing ( actually this is somewhat incorrect as the terms mental/physical are not opposites here but somewhat interrelated and I hope I have developed mentally just not in the physical sense of mental development) around the age of 25 and physically much earlier around about 13 or so but I never stopped aging. The chair I now sit upon never developed beyond the day it was made but it has been aging ever since. It looks about the same now as it did then yet it has aged.

Why? That doesn't apply to all under-25s.
