Hunting!!

Hey all,
Just wondering if anyone else here hunts.I have hunted since I was about 10
and I love it. the excitment of the hunt is awesome.I hunt deer. rabbit, upland birsd (partridge and grouse), Waterfowl, (Geese and Ducks) and i have also shot at wolves..I have sheep so they are not very welcome around our farm. I know alot of People dont like hunting, But i think it is an awesome way to see God's creation..while deer hunting I see so many amazing things take place. And hunting also saves my family alot of money. because we dont have to buy any beef. So if anyone else hunts leave a message!

Nope, I fish. I know what you mean about saving money. It helps. I like to fish b/c I can be alone and just talk to God. Sounds wierd, but I love to just sit on the dock and cast. I can do that for hours. And in the early morning the deer and ducks come out. It's really peaceful.

I do not deer hunt, but I do hunt squirrels, rabbits, gamebirds and waterfowl. I do fish as much too. As I often do not get the chance to shoot at the game, I just consider it taking my gun for a walk in the woods.

Count me in. I killed my first deer this year. I also hunt furbearers, gamebirds (mainly pheasent hunting in Iowa), and the occasional rabbit or squirrel.

Oooo! I hunt! Well...I try to. I've shot /at/ deer..yet to hit any however. *grin*
This is my little brother! Well..technically he's taller and stronger then me...but I'm older! Ha HA!

Yeah i have got 5 deer in the last 3 deer hunting seasons. it has been good deer hunting around my house, the deer are everywhere. But my favorite type of hunting is probably waterfowl.

I always wanted to hunt, never had a chance to. Never even fired a rifle before.

I like the idea of hunting my own food. I don't like the idea of slaughterhouses.

I like to hunt. I hunt whitetails and ducks most often. I've also hunted black bear, moose, and just this year got my first elk with my bow! I've taken elk before with a rifle, just never with a bow until this year. Still a few species of North American big game left which I have yet to take.

I'm preparing to go on an Africa hunt when I turn 18! Can't wait!

I also love hunt and fish. My family has 17 acres of woods behind our house and my grandparents own the woods behind ours so we have plenty of places to hunt. I don't really deer hunt too much but my little brother does, I stick with squirrels and birds for the most part. I have also shot plenty of possums and raccoons over the years, there is definitely not shortage of them in my area.

Glad to see there are christian people on here that hunt. I hunt everything. I used to be a huge waterfowl and upland bird hunter but then progressed to pretty much everything. I hunted since ive been 8 years old and absolutely love it. It kinda sucked this year cuz i didnt hunt but once. But it was a sacrifice i was glad to make cuz i had just got married. Any hunters here from Texas?

I'm also a bigtime hunter. While I enjoy deer hunting, my real passion is for bird hunting, especially waterfowl. To me there is nothing greater than sitting in a duck blind early in the morning.

What type of target shooting do you do? I personally could never get into the rifle sports but I do really enjoy shooting skeet. So much so that I've joined the national skeet shooting assoc. and I have begun to shoot registered targets.

I also love target shooting, Iusally shoot at about 200 yards with my 303 british, it is fun, but what i really love is skeet shooting with my 12 gauge.i am ok at it.. i shoot alot. i can usally hit about 20 out of 25 skeet, which is alright. I find it really helps when it comes to upland game birds. I have been rabbit hunting so far this winter, it was unsucsesfull, but still alot of fun, anytime u r in the bush with a gun and a good frinds it is fun! Has anyone here ever shot a moose? I have been hunting hem for 2 years, and am yet to see one.lol.. but i am sure eventually i will.

yeah i want to hunt but i cant till i find my wallet for my hunters ed card to get my permit this year wish me luck i also like to fish it is fun
