Terah took Abraham to live in a place called Haran, where Terah died at the ripe old age of 205:

At this point, Abraham was called by God to leave Haran, and obediently did so:

If Abraham was born when Terah was 70, and left Haran after Terah died aged 205, then when he left Haran he must have been at least 135 years old. Genesis, though, tells us that he was still only 75 years old:

So Abram went, as the Lord had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he departed from Haran. [Genesis 12:4 (NRSV)]

The temptation is to harmonise these verses by saying that they don’t relate events in chronological order. Although it is natural to read them as having Abraham leave Haran after Terah’s death, perhaps the verse about Terah dying in Haran aged 205 is just an aside, and actually happened later than it appears in this narrative. Perhaps Terah was 70 when Abraham was born, then took Abraham to Haran, then Abraham left Haran aged 75, and then Terah died in Haran aged 205.

This is perfectly plausible as a reading of Genesis, but it conflicts with Acts. In Acts, Stephen tells the high priest about the call of Abraham, explicitly stating that Terah was dead when he left Haran:

And Stephen replied: ‘Brother and fathers, listen to me. The God of glory appeared to our ancestor Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he lived in Haran, and said to him, “Leave your country and your relatives and go to the land that I will show you.” Then he left the country of the Chaldeans and settled in Haran. After his father died, God had him move from there to this country in which you are now living…’ [Acts 3:2-4 (NRSV

The answer is simple and is the reason many people get confused. Abraham's age is counted AFTER he was born again Spiritually. In Adam's case, he lived for Billions of years with Jesus BEFORE he and eve were born again. Adam lived for 930 years AFTER he and Eve were born again Spiritually in Christ. Gen 5:5 Amen?

I appreciate your goal but we all should be humble right, and all expect to learn more, all. And in this case you will learn possibly an additional fact from verse 1 in relation to "when it talks about "the first day" - there is no planet earth." because even in an fully symbolic or figurative reading only. He created the Universe is the simply symbolic or figurative reading (most reading it only figuratively still believe He got it started), and therefore all that follows naturally, like Earth, for instance, is simply an outcome of that. Thus on even a figurative 'first day', even then, the Earth already comes into existence during verse 1 (check and see).

Funny thing though -- we can sometimes see even putatively literal readers not getting that -- that God creates all the Universe and Earth, both, already, in verse 1, before the first "day" -- which gains light that causes a day/night cycle! -- and that implies our sun or an equal light is shining onto Earth from one direction, causing night and day as the Earth rotates. Ergo, it's our sun, right there in verse 3. (but not visible from the surface due to cloud cover that is 24/7/365 for a billion or more years)

All people make mistakes. All should be humble. It's like Isiah 55 -- His thoughts are above our thoughts.

The scripture was intended for the "inhabitants of the planet earth", the same people that would have a 24hr day as reference. 1st Heaven = 0-62 miles up = atmosphere = populated with terrestrial life, etc.

2nd Heaven = 63 miles-edge of universe = populated with stars, planets, moons, etc.

3rd Heaven = Heaven proper = populated with seat of Christ, Crystal Sea, the Tabernacle, etc.
