I'm a huge hugger! I love to hug just about everyone and the only reason I hold back is cause it scares some people. I am afraid sometimes that people see me as too "touchy feely". Probably because I belive placing your arm around someone's shoulders is a good way to say "Nice to meet you."
Like with dancing because almost no one there has any sort of real personal space I just almost always hug about every girl I dance with after we are done. Its like I'll give her a hug and we thank eachother for the dance and as I walk her off the floor I'm like "Oh yeah what was your name" . . . The funny thing is though I'm not the only one as she often doesn't know mine either.
Dancing with someone is a great way to form a bond between you. And often your bonds with your friends are strengthened by dancing. In fact if I see old dancing friends, we usually make it a point if appropriate to dance at least once to re-new the bond.
I do not belive that my bond with my dance partner would be nearly the same if we where just friends and not partners as well.
