Here was my question, which carried the same meaning for me. I apologize if it sounded like an accusation instead:That's not how you worded your question. That is how you should have worded your question.
Here was my question, which carried the same meaning for me. I apologize if it sounded like an accusation instead:
"Is there some reason you think that God cant make man righteous or holy or sanctified? Or who he was created to be IOW?".
Salvation is not a one-time event. It is past, present and future:
.
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous, so that He will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
1 John 1:9 NASB2020
Confession of our sins is encouraged in the scriptures. I confess my sins to God not to man.
For me personally I confess sin in asking God to help me overcome it. It's not like I'm confessing in a way that comes out as "please don't take away my salvation" or "please restore my salvation", but rather it's "please help me overcome this problem". "This is what I'm doing wrong or this is where I'm falling short, help me Lord to overcome it". And I have faith that He will.
What reason did Jesus give for condemning them?
.
You completely do not understand the definition of the Greek word pisteuo and I just provided you with the definition. Did you even read it? That is why you don’t understand Christ.
You only come to this conclusion because you disregard what Jesus said in John 15:6.
I should ask, 'Why do you persist in skewing my words?' My position from the beginning has been that we need Jesus in order to be like Jesus.
or the holiness we must have as per Heb 12:14, or those things done for "the least of these" which Jesus praised in Matt 25, or putting to death the deeds of the flesh by the Spirit (Rom 8:12-13) are filthy rags??
Confessing sin, relieves a believer's feelings of guilt and condemnation.
That's the benefit of it.
It does not "re-save" you, and it does not cause God to forgive your sin again.
See, God already forgave all your sin, 2000 yrs ago on the Cross.
They way you stop sinning, is not achieved by trying to stop, as this causes the law's dominion to do this to you...."the POWER OF SIN, is the LAW".
So, when you resist and strive to try to stop sinning, the Law's dominion is activated to empower your mind of the flesh to become even stronger.
See that?
That is the "curse of the Law", and "Jesus has redeemed us FROM the curse of the Law".
So then, how to stop sinning?
You stop once you understand that God is always at perfect peace with you, because of Jesus, and not because of you.
You stop once you realize that all your sin is resolved, and you have become "the righteousness of God, In Christ".
Sinning, this desire for it, and the power of the law that enflames you to want it more and more, is ended, once a believer comes to understand that the Grace of God keeps you "In Christ" as "made righteous", always.
And understanding this is the "renewed mind", and once a believers SEES THIS REVELATION of who they have become "in Christ" then they stop the striving and start to REST in God's Grace.
This REST, brings the deliverance, that is this verse...."Christ ALWAYS gives me the VICTORY".
Reader...... Jesus explained to us...>"apart from ME you can do NOTHING">
And that includes being able to stop sinning.
So, when you are trying to stop sinning, that is YOU trying, and so, that is "apart" from Jesus giving you the Victory.
See it?
To start your walk of victory, you have to become this Verse.
Hebrews 13:9
You have to live there, in your mind of Faith, and never depart.
And you know this, how?
.
Some still might argue otherwise. Or argue that those verses don't really mean that man's obligated to love- in order to be holy in God's eyes.
The argument is if a born again Christian will lose his salvation if he doesn't properly fulfill that obligation.
Question: Why would God give someone everlasting life temporarily?
So you trust your redeemed, regardless of fruit??If a person is born again, then they have eternally fulfilled their obligation, as proven by being born again.
Faith is an interesting obligation, as it requires you to believe....... so that God can give you a eternal Gift. = The Blood Atonement.
This isn't related to logic or analytical thinking.
Its only related to TRUST.
The reason God does it this way, is because it can't be done any other way.. then to be redeemed.
This means to be RESCUED, completely outside of your ability to do it for yourself.
Salvation is ALL of God, and none of us.
This is sooo anti-gospel of Jesus Christ. If a person is born again, then they have eternally fulfilled their obligation, as proven by being born again.

So what about all the stuff Paul wrote about putting on the full armor of God and battling sin in our lives?
So you trust your redeemed, regardless of fruit??
