The fact that no other early Christian sites this huge, and this would be one of the hugest of Jesus's miracles, tells us that this very very probably did not happen. They will accept the effects of gravity, but they draw the [battle] line with God.

All a scientist has to do is see an apple fall from a tree, and he will say, "Yup ... that was gravity in action."

But let scientists hear that Joe was diagnosed with terminal cancer one day, prayed for, and later the doctors didn't find any cancer at all, and they'll make some kind of standard excuse as to how Mother Nature did it.

And if you pressure them into being more honest, they'll do some kind of fake test on a select group of people about the efficacy of prayer and conclude prayer had nothing to do with it.

Very good, that is a general definition of evidence. It is a a beginning. The problem is that since it is so general it does not tell you why there is no evidence for ID. I am sure that you still lack that understanding. And since you seem to like science, and you are trying to make a scientific argument how about trying to use scientific evidence?
