How to Popularize ‘Ad Orientem’ Without Disorienting People
I liked this. The idea of 'edging east' is a good one. It makes the changes gradual and comprehendable. The change with the priest facing the people was done without suitable forethought and it has not been a resounding success. I do like the way they do it in the Ordinariate, and I want that for my parish. Bring it on ... please.

Instruct and catechise the laity and faithful properly. I mean the Byzantines can do ad orientem right all the time; it's about time the Romans restore it to ALL THEIR Churches and break with the DISCONTINUITY of "versus populum" that is discontinuous from Tradition, Ecclesiastical History, and the Saints.

Great article, I hope more parishes follow suit. Sadly I think this may be difficult to implement fully since so many modern churches are built with the alter in a forward position and it might take major remodeling to go ad orientem.
