What's your position on consistently lying & not showing a bit of repentance for it? I'll say there were decent Republicans in the 2016 primary who had positions consistent with my own values as a conservative American.

To him the swamp is the FBI, I always thought it was lobbyists like the NRA. I guess it goes with the territory that governing is different then campaigning are two very different things. He seemed to be in favor of reform but has uniformly conformed to the status quo. Trump is either gullible or disingenuous, he is not draining anything, except the expense account that covers his luxurious lifestyle.

IMO - to Trump the swamp is whoever isn't standing in line behind him to tell him that his farts smell like roses & to pucker up their lips to kiss his butt.

He is adept at telling people what they want to hear, that doesn't mean he is what they think he is. I think it's pretty clear he isn't draining anything, he seems driven to accomplish little and gain on an epic scale. How's the wall coming I wonder, did the Dreamers get the 'gift of love' yet? Where is the great health care he was talking about and I thought the investigations would be over the first of the year. It doesn't look like the investigations are over, it looks like they are picking up momentum. I sometimes wonder if he is an android with a defective chip, really ought to get that checked out.

Well Trump is far more, um, "imperfect" than every other POTUS in our history. I'm not a fan of Obama or Hillary, but at least they are competent. They both won the popular vote.

Again the real problem was with voters messing up hugely in the 2016 Republican primaries. We had conservative Christian choices for the POTUS then.

Trump has a long way to go in getting rid of the aftermath of Obama, the swamp is big, but the levy is broke.

Trump, Pence, Gorsuch, great!

Bring Back Jobs, Great!
Increase tariffs on foreign goods, Great!
Stop foreign aid, Great!
Stop foreign lobbying, Great!

One more conservative Supreme Court appointment and we can turn this evil liberal ship around.

Trump makes me miss Gerald Ford and Dan Quayle and I thought they were comical. It's nice to have a Republican in the White House that doesn't know what he is doing. That is at least one thing I like about him.
