When I said lean not on your own inderstanding, I meant it. Google "biblical chronology chart" and you'll see.
I am not asking Google. I am asking you. Please stay focused if you can. This is the 4th time I am asking you this question: How old is the earth according to you? By "you", I mean you, not Google. Are you able to tell the difference?

You are just still repeating your religious bias and contradicting basically all known facts about our world, just because you think that mythological history is a scientific lesson.

None of the dating methods are facts. They’re evidence based on theories. Evidence and facts are not the same thing.
Please read post 619 where I show how Wikipedia proves this.

"Some Christians think that the earth is between 6000 to 15,000 years old." I'm among those, there you go.

You think science is a history lesson...the only history lesson that i know of is Recorded History.

What I want to know is this….What about when the dating methods are the same for both tests on Cheddar Man and the results are the same? Then what?
I already explained this. If they used the exact same method they’re going to come up with the same amount of C14 in the remains. The problem is they don’t think that the earth was created 6,000 years ago so they’re not expecting a low level of C14 in the atmosphere around this time. A low level of C14 is what makes organic materials appear to be old. The lower the level of C14 the older the material is believed to be. I demonstrated that Wikipedia specifically tells us that just in the last 70 years the C14 levels dropped dramatically then doubled. If that happened in just the last 70 years and they’ve only discovered C14 80 years ago then there’s no telling what the levels have been doing for the last 6,000 years.

I suppose that you think that mythological interpretations of history are facts, instead?

I gave you tons of internet records. Oh, you mean just the biblical records, right? You do not care (and probably have never read) any other records from Egypt, Summer, Babylonia, Persia, Rome, Greece, India etc. You are probably more than ready to dismiss them at once, whatever they say, because, yes - its mythology.

Ok well that’s where we differ I believe the scriptures and I already pointed out that 1 Corinthians 15:45 specifically says that Adam was the first man.
Jesus is the last Adam, and you say the first Adam and the last Adam are the same person.

No there’s a contrast between the first Adam & the last Adam. They’re not the same person.

“So also it is written, “The first man, Adam, became a living soul.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”

I am a Christian.
Being a Christian has nothing to do with reading mythological history as facts. So its a non-answer.

Is the general education in the US so low that people cannot recognize different genres?

Look, friend, I never meant to lecture on anybody with any doctrine, if I did I sincerely apologize, but you have to realize that the age of the earth is just a wedge issue, it was raised to create division among the body of Christ. What really matters is the sovereignty of God, is whether the world is the creator or a creation, whether the world came into being all by itself or a supreme being OUTSIDE of this world created it,
Love it bro that faith. But there is more -- a wonderful thing to remind us of -- all of Nature is God's creation.

Everything
--

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. 5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

See it!?

There isn't any process/action/development in nature that isn't His work, and His design, and His. He literally made every last aspect -- all the design.

The physics, the chemistry.... Literally, His work.

:)

So, everything that happens in nature is only nature doing what God made it to do!

So, then....you can see that any processes included in the acts of creation where in some partial aspect Earth came into being naturally is already God at work, to begin with... -- because Nature is doing what God makes it do.....

See it?

We can tell anyone -- both nature and His special interventions -- both -- are His work.

That's the key thing atheists get wrong also: they have imagined falsely (from lack of faith in God) that somehow if something happens in the vastness of nature that wasn't already specified in precise detail in the Bible (which is only about 1300 pages long), then somehow that is supposed to prove God doesn't exist. (it's circular reasoning of course -- they began with the assumption God doesn't exist, so that made them try to see rationals like trying to imagine this or that natural phenomena might disprove God.... but that's not all they are getting wrong) Of course, the Bible isn't about geology or astronomical details or the atomic table, etc., etc. -- those are relatively trivial compared to what the Bible is about.
The Word is about saving our souls, bringing us back to God....

So, you see, it's even better that the old atheist assumption that evolution or atomic theory could disprove God..... That's merely atheism.... All of nature is God's.

All the recorded History of records from Egypt, Summer, Babylonia, Persia, Rome, Greece, India etc. are only within the past 5500 years - You probably dismiss the fact that there are no Civilizations older than 5500 years and there is no recorded History older then 5500 years. Those are stunning facts.

Oh so you don’t have Christians in your country? Here maybe this can help you.

Have you read them? Do you believe them to present the beginnings of humanity reliably? Or not?

If you think the Bible is mythological history then that is on you. I don't agree with that assessment and the fact that the Bible is the leading resource for archeologist indicate they don't think its a mythological history either. You do realize that the Bible is a Historical Jewish account of their History - they certainly don't look or read it as a myth. However - you are certainly entitled to your opinion....just know the Bible was not written as a mythological history - but again you can look at it that way if you like.
