How much is gas where you live?

I think it was around $3.10 at the Sunaco (sp?) last time I checked. My brother complains about it because it's often 10 cents more than places like Mobile.

My dad is a gas snob, if that can be believed. He likes BP, Shell, and Sonoco (sp?) and considers places like Speedway, Citgo, Mobile and the like to be cheap gas.

We have a store called "99.99¢ Only" where each item is $0.9999. So they round up and each item is really $1 unless you buy 100 items at a time,

Why should we stop complaiming? We were hijacked into a particular economic model with gas at its center and then the price goes up well out of line with inflation. We have much legitimate reason to complain.

Differing state and local taxes account for the biggest part of these regional price variations. Or so I think.

Yep. Average $3.50 depending where you are. Some places it's closer to $4

Last time I filled up last week. about 3.78 unless you have a discount card or are getting it from Costco.
