Then why --- in the New Heaven and the New Earth --- when science no longer applies --- and we revert back to near Genesis 1 conditions (that is, to a glorified universe where current laws of nature don't apply) --- will we have no need of the sun? Here it is,And God made the two great lights--the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night--and the stars. (Genesis 1:16)For a star to work, hydrogen fusion is required. This necessitates a release of heat, which causes an increase in the universe's entropy. Thus God set in motion the processes by which the universe's entropy is increased. It is of no theological consequence, at least not when we recognize that entropy has no morality associated with it.
Can we even say that our sun was yellow in Genesis 1?
