What gives you the idea that I don't like science?

I hold science up to a Higher Standard than atheists do, by claiming that God is the Author of science.

Most people get a false impression that I don't like science because all I do is insult it.

But if you see what I'm doing --- I'm insulting only that part of science that leads people to conclude the Bible is wrong.

In my opinion, scientists are a gift from God.

You have to give him style points though. Not only did he resurrect a 2 year old thread.. he did it to post a link to a one year old thread.

Taking into account AV's high post volume (the software claims he makes 500 posts a day.. but that can't be right?), it's actually somewhat admirable that he managed to match 2 ancient threads.

Yup --- I'll bet many people pray and ask God to tell science (or nature) to take a hike when they have someone in the hospital at the brink of death, or a tornado is bearing down on them, or during an earthquake, etc.

I learned to use that line when I was debating about the Flood, and getting all this "it couldn't happen because..."

I finally told them that the Ark could have been made of Balsa wood, and Noah & company would still have survived it.

As the song goes: Little is much when God is in it ---

On one side there is Science which deals with the natural world, reason and facts. On the other side there is the belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolicly eat his flesh and telepathicaly accept him as your master, so that he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in all of humanity , because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical fruit tree. I'll stick with science.

In my opinion, it bore food for the angels, and the angels only.

That's why it was off-limits to Adam and Eve.
