Oooooooh, nuclear weapons! And don't forget enhanced radiation weapons, even that much scarier! Can't have an End of the World without them, now can we? But where are your flying saucers and their demonic drivers, with the idiot masses falling all over themselves to worship them? And it's all a Catholic Conspiracy, innit? The Pope has Old Nick o Skype 24/7 just so he doesn't miss any crucial (crucial, get it?) orders. But at lease we can take comfort in the fact that the Temple is still there, the all-important sacrifices carrying on apace.

BTW, I remember when the Russians dropped Tsar Bomba. Something in the neighborhood of 50 megatons. They didn't have a missle that would loft if, and that wasn't what they had in mind anyway; this was for show-and-tell. So they modified an old reliable TU-85 Bear to do the drop. The Bear driver dropped the thing, then turned and dived away like mad so as to get far away from the sucker as he could before it went off. End result, scare value, off the scale. War-fighting value, roughly zero. But seriously impressive all the same, and End Of The World types had a field day.

And while that sort of thing has a seriously scary feel to it, God doesn't need it, does He? He can turn the Earth into a cloud of charged particles with a nod in its direction, so He isn't really waiting for any help from pathetic human technology. But End Times buffs work themselves into ecstasies imagining ever newer and ever badder weapons to make the End Times more theatrical. A lot more entertaining than God simply telling the earth that He wants it on the far side of Andromeda in 10 minutes, and it making the trip in nine. But y'all do love scary stories, don't you?
So you believe God is a nation who rises against nation at the time of the end.
And you believe God as a nation will make the earthquakes and fearful signs in the heavens ?

Luke 21
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Where exactly does it say in the bible that God is a nation?

You still have not given us the year you claim this was fulfilled.

What year are you claiming this prophecy was fulfilled?

Daniel 12
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

According to God's word,The king of the north goes forth to destroy and annihilate many at the time of the end.

Since you say God is the one who destroys,
Is this who you call your God?

Daniel 11:44
But reports from the east and the north will alarm him, and he will set out in a great rage to destroy and annihilate many.

I'm sure it mentionsnuclear weaponds as well.

Ah, my God. I'm sure that was meant to be a terrible insult. But, you my be into something there. I'm not at all sure the deity you invoke is at all the same one who was born of the Blessed Virgin, was crucified, died, was buried, rose again, ascended into Heaven. You certainly seem to hold the Christian God's word in light regard

Sonuvagun. Just out of curiousity, do you ever read anything in the New Testament apart from the Revelation, and maybe a few verses from Matthew?

So you believe God is a nation who rises against nation at the time of the end.
I believe that you specialize in incoherent and baseless ideas of what Christians generally believe. But apart from that... what? But het, I'll try and follow suiit. Do you believe God is a cosmic motorcyclist sitting astride a gargantuan Harley?
And you believe God as a nation
I'm sorry, but I don't have any idea what that's supposed to mean. In he words of the Prophet Mohammed, "Do what?"
Where exactly does it say in the bible that God is a nation?
I'll bite, where?

If you're trying to make a point of some kind here, you're failing in dramatic fashion. I assume that you're atempting to be clever, but it ain't working.

I've pretty much memorized revelation and had at one memorized the words of Jesus so that would have included much of Mathew.
Revelation,Daniel and the Olivet discourse covers much of the same events.

Ok ,so you had nothing to base your statements from.
It's funny that I know what's in scripture and you do not know much of anything in scripture.

You just blab about God not needing nuclear weapons to destroy the world when scripture is talking about nation rising against nation.

You truly are clueless as to what takes place at the time of the end.

Mathew 24
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

Luke 21
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Mark 13
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

Daniel 11
40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

41 He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

12 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Its a waste of time discussing anything with you because you ignore everything in scripture and come to your own conclusions based on nothing.
A complete waste of time.

Well, If your position is that the text must not be taken literally, I'm good with that. I have no objection to you insisting on that "common sense" approach. It does make the rest of your arguments so far on this thread problematic, for up till now you've rested them on requiring a highly literal interpretation of the text, only to now say we MUST NOT take the text literally after all... I have no clue how you can possibly reconcile that in your own head, but I'd be curious to find out. I bet it's fascinating. I'm guessing it nearly olympic level gymnastics.
There's no problem with my interpretation.
People have been seeing falling stars for thousands of years.A falling star may not be a star as we have learned, but they still appear as a star falling to the earth.

They look like the missiles falling upon Israel last week.

When they start falling, the occupants of Israel go underground.

"hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;"

Revelation 6
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Luke 23
28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

29 For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

They have built a million such dens for such an occasion as this.

Same old song and dance.
You just blab about God not needing nuclear weapons to destroy the world when scripture is talking about nation rising against nation.
<Laff> I simply noted how much your lot love their nuclear weapons, and how threy provide Him with the power to perform some of the ghastlier predictions of the Revelation. Hilarious, it you think about it.
You truly are clueless as to what takes place at the time of the end.
So I've been told by pretty much everyone whose come up with yet another absolute, positively, no doubt, take-it-to-the-bank outline of what's gonna happen in the Last Days. All of them absolute locks - and no two of them agree.

But one thing is certain, when those folks tell you what's gonna happen in the near term, you can bet your last piaster it ain't gonna happen. End Times zealots come and go, and so do their End Times master plans. You notions are a fair bit less cohenent than those of most ETH (End Times Hucksters, possibly because you've almost nothing of the New Testament, and thus know next to nothing of what the Christian Faith is about. And the really sad part is that that's not at all uncommon amongst mondern day evangelicals.
Mathew 24
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
Yep, none of those things have ever happened, nosirree. So add ignorance of history to ignorance of the New testament.

Hey, I see a pattern developining here...
11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
Nope, none of that has ever happened befgore, has it. Well, not as far as you know, anyway.
Mark 13
8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.
Seems I've read that wonewhere before...oh, wait...!

Well that settles... something, I guess.

Tough break for Egypt, innit?
43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

Heavy duty stuff. What happens to everyone who just, you know, dies before then? Of all the people who've lived since the Revelation, most of them have died. All the End Times hooraw is kind of moot to them, innit? They had to be ready to stand before God then. One might End Times spellbinder proclaimed from the housetops, "Millions not living will never die!", and any of his followers would swear he had the Scripture to prove it.

It's very unlikely that there are milion of people alive now who were alive in those days. Probably not even thousands. Hundreds is probably pushing it. All the rest have died. All the sturm und drang so beloved of End Times buffs never happened for them. They died just as all their forebears did, from old age, disease, accidents, natural disasters, yes, warfare, and the thousands of shocks that flesh is heir to. Their End Times came and went.

Folks like to think they're special. That the Lord is gonna come for them. At some point, He will, when it is His good pleasure to do so. You won't when He's coming. How do I know that? Because He said so! If you can't even believe that, then the rest of your ET notions are simply rubbish.

Be ready for your End Times. None of us is guaranteed another living breath, or another haert beat. Get ready for your own departure, and then yuou'll be ready for opur Lords' return as well,

You still have not answered the first question I asked you
Sorry mate, the question was stupid.

What year are you claiming this prophecy was fulfilled?
Thecessation of daily sacrifice? That's history, look it up. Oh, I forgot, yu reckomn it's still going on. Right.
Daniel 12
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
Ergo the Temple is still there. Sure, suit yourself.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
I-sigh-
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Was the Temple desecrated?
Was the Temple destroyed?
Did daily sacrifice cease? (imaginary sacrifices don't count)
The use google and find when that prophecy was fulfilled.
And no, "but that didn't count". isn't a reasonable answer.

All 20 of the verses you've read... <Laugh>
It was not a pic of the tsar bomb.
It was a video of what John described he saw.

The earthquake
The sun turning black
The heavens departing as a scroll being rolled together.

There is only one cloud I know of that departs as a scroll being rolled together.
And as Jesus said. The earthquakes and the fearful signs in the heavens take place when nation rises against nation.

You have already proven you don't pay attention to scripture though so you would not know when the earthquake in revelation 6 takes place or what would cause it.
You simply laugh at the word of God as you just said you do.

Sorry mate, the question was stupid.

Thecessation of daily sacrifice? That's history, look it up. Oh, I forgot, yu reckomn it's still going on. Right.

Ergo the Temple is still there. Sure, suit yourself.

I-sigh-

Was the Temple desecrated?
Was the Temple destroyed?
Did daily sacrifice cease? (imaginary sacrifices don't count)
The use google and find when that prophecy was fulfilled.
And no, "but that didn't count". isn't a reasonable answer.
When are you saying this was fulfilled?

The prophecy that sacrifice would cease? Hmmm... how about when sacrifice ceased? Hint: it was, give or take, a couple of millennia ago. Yeah, I know, you don't believe it happened, but that doesn't really signify, does it? You may be one of those folks who believe that Clinton win the presidency in 2016, too.
Daniel 12

The end of what?
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Yeah, apparently that pretty much exhausts your Scriptural repertoire. One verse that you completely misunderstand, and another verse that makes anyone who disagrees with whatever it is you think that the verse means "wicked", and you "wise". Hey, with a couple of verses like that under your belt, who needs the rest of the Bible?

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
OK. 'Splain that one for us.
12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
This one as well, while you're at it.

You've just proven you know nothing.
You don't understand any of the prophecy.

No, I just proved that you've said nothing, but merely posted some verses of Scripture that you didn't understand, and given them a "meaning" that has nothing whatsoever to do with reality. Congratulations!
