And the delusional just dream stuff up.

BTW, are you arguing that the daily sacrifice hasn't ceased? Really?

And you've just proven that you can make up rubbish "interp[retations" of Scripture, ignore actual recorded history, and fancy yourself "wise".

I reckon in your imagination the Temple is still there, isn't it? I mean, if your homemade eschatology can't figure out what to do with it, just act as though it never happened.

Hey, at the rate you're going, you make fnd yourself promoted to the level as wise guys like CT Russell, Hal Lindsey, Ed Whisenant, Harold Camping, Herbert W. Armstrong, William Miller, Moon Sun-Myung, and assorted other jackdaws, delusionals, hucksters, grifters, daydreamers, wannabes, phonies, and outright frauds, who've known, without any shadow of a doubt, precisely when our Lord wouid return, and when the appointed time came - nothing happened.

Our Lord said we aren't gonna know. That means you too, matey. Yeah, I know, you've got it all sorted out. Right.

Don't quit your day job.
Correct, the daily sacrifice which the Jews are making has not ceased.

The sacrifice being made today is not the killing of sheep and cows.

You believe stars comparable to the size of the sun will fall to the earth from heaven,?

Do you lack common sense or your just not using any?
Well, If your position is that the text must not be taken literally, I'm good with that. I have no objection to you insisting on that "common sense" approach. It does make the rest of your arguments so far on this thread problematic, for up till now you've rested them on requiring a highly literal interpretation of the text, only to now say we MUST NOT take the text literally after all... I have no clue how you can possibly reconcile that in your own head, but I'd be curious to find out. I bet it's fascinating. I'm guessing it nearly olympic level gymnastics.

Your the one who says the time of the end was thousands of years ago.
Nope, never said anything of the kind. Another delusion, looks like.
Now give us the date the end came as you claim.
I made no such claim, although you may believe that I did. You seem to believe a good many things that are purely imaginary., like daily sacrifice continuing into the present.

Ohhh ,but yes you did.
You said this prophecy concerning the end was thousands of years ago.
Sacrifice and oblation ended, that much is certain, even though your curious eschatological notions requires you to deny it.
So when was the end?
Of what?
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Looks like you just placed yourself solidly in the camp of the wicked. Sorry to hear it.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Hey, no worries there, then. You can just keep the daily sacrifice going in your imagination

Then you agree the daily sacrifice was not abolished thousands of years ago .
This prophecy concerning the daily sacrifice,Abomination of desolation and time of the end is an unfulfilled prophecy .

Daniel 12
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.

12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

13 But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

The same false prophet who said the daily sacrifice was abolished is the same false prophet who says the abomination of desolation was set up by the armed forces

Good thing Jesus cleared that nonsense up by stating Daniels prophecy had not been fulfilled.
Anyone who listens to Jesus knows Daniels prophecy concerning the daily sacrifice and the abomination of desolation knows False prophet Jason was wrong.Anyone who ignores Jesus are wicked and do not understand.

Mathew 24
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.

16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

I'm sorry, but is English not your native language? But try this DAILY SACRIFICE CEASED (STOPPED, ENDED, WAS DISCONTINUED, NO LONGER TAKES PLACE) in the 1st century AD.

As fas as you know, anyway. Just out of curiousity, are you Flat Earth as well?

OK, how many days do you reckon it was, and why?

Ah, so the Temple was neither descrated, nor, I suppose, destroyed. Still setting there, I reckon, perceptible only by The Wise.

Right.
Good thing Jesus cleared that nonsense up by stating Daniels prophecy had not been fulfilled.
Who was He talking to? To His followers who had asked Him a question, or had He turned toard the camera to send message to people thousands of years in the future?
Anyone who ignores Jesus are wicked and do not understand.
Anyone who makes stuff up and attributes it to Jesus are, at best, hishonest, and at worst, intentionally deceptive. Those who gainsay what our Lord has explicitly said (naming no names here) to support some favorite hand-wrought doctrinal notions is beneath contempt.
Anyone who ignores Jesus are wicked and do not understand.
Except when Jesus declares that no one knows the time of the end except the Father. That statement is easily wiggled around by those who deal in ill-founded, not to say idiotic, eschaological prognostications. Right?

Anyone who listens to Jesus knows Daniels prophecy concerning the daily sacrifice and the abomination of desolation knows False prophet Jason was wrong.
Jason? With or without Argonauts? Jason and the Scorchers? Jason something who plays Aquaman?
Mathew 24
15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand.
But of course, our Lord wasn't talking to His immediate audience. Right?
16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
To escape "The End". Right?
17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
So as to avoid "The End". Right?
18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
Because "The End" might get him.
19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
Seems almost like our Lord was warning His audience of something that was bearing down on them, doesn't it?
Nah, that can't be right. He was ignoring them and talkuf to us instead.

Nemmind that what He warned them of happened in their lifetimes. That was just a weird coincidence. Right?

Nah, Sacrifice and oblation didn't really stop, or it they did, it didn't count. I mean, otherwise it would foul up your favorite doctrines that Brother Tommy himself taught you. Right?

Google "Destruction on Temple in Jerusalem". It's part of history.
Daniel 12
9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
OK, the the Temple is really still there, undefiled. My bad.
10 Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
And the stupid will make up ever stupider "End Times" doctrines.
11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
Then how long was it?

Nah, forget it. The Temple's still there. No date to be googled for its destruction, because it's standing there on the Temple Mount in all its glory. No pagan ceremonies ever conducted in it's ruins. Daily sacrifice procedes unabated. Armies never surrounded Jerusalem, and no Jews ever fled the city for their lives. No atrocities committed there. All that stuff that our Lord warned His followers about? Never happened at all. Nothing to see there, just go on about your business. After all, The End is all gonna be about flying saucers and nuclear weapons, innit?

Nuclear weapons .
It takes place after nation rises against nation and kingdom against kingdom.

Luke 21
10 Then said he unto them, Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:

11 And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.

Earthquake, heavens departing as a scroll being rolled together. Its that inward circular motion toward the updraft in the center of the cloud

Revelation 6
12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

It's not called a nuke in the bible.
It is called the abomination that causes desolation because that is what it does.Cause desolation.

Oooooooh, nuclear weapons! And don't forget enhanced radiation weapons, even that much scarier! Can't have an End of the World without them, now can we? But where are your flying saucers and their demonic drivers, with the idiot masses falling all over themselves to worship them? And it's all a Catholic Conspiracy, innit? The Pope has Old Nick o Skype 24/7 just so he doesn't miss any crucial (crucial, get it?) orders. But at lease we can take comfort in the fact that the Temple is still there, the all-important sacrifices carrying on apace.

BTW, I remember when the Russians dropped Tsar Bomba. Something in the neighborhood of 50 megatons. They didn't have a missle that would loft if, and that wasn't what they had in mind anyway; this was for show-and-tell. So they modified an old reliable TU-85 Bear to do the drop. The Bear driver dropped the thing, then turned and dived away like mad so as to get far away from the sucker as he could before it went off. End result, scare value, off the scale. War-fighting value, roughly zero. But seriously impressive all the same, and End Of The World types had a field day.

And while that sort of thing has a seriously scary feel to it, God doesn't need it, does He? He can turn the Earth into a cloud of charged particles with a nod in its direction, so He isn't really waiting for any help from pathetic human technology. But End Times buffs work themselves into ecstasies imagining ever newer and ever badder weapons to make the End Times more theatrical. A lot more entertaining than God simply telling the earth that He wants it on the far side of Andromeda in 10 minutes, and it making the trip in nine. But y'all do love scary stories, don't you?
