How long have you been trying?

About 12 months. I think....keep forgetting. Seems like years

I had a tubal reversal on 10/18/06, we had to wait 4 wks before we got the go ahead. We have been trying since then, nothing yet, we kinda got off track for trying because I had a seizure in December 06, so I have been going through alot of tests. Pray for me please, this is all my hubbie thinks about, he has no children of his own, I have three, my oldest is 21, and my youngest is 9, I am 39yrs young going to be 40 in Feb. so time is running out fast !!

it hurts.

my friend told me this week she was pregnant - I am excited for her, but it hurts like hell for us. especially since we were trying long before she decided she wanted children.

From a professional point of view, I very much believe that you can try too hard.
Believe and achieve just popped into my head.
A lady who my wife cares for tried for years.... years, and finally gave in and adopted.
Immediately, she became pregnant, and that daughter was married late 2006.
There is a moral here.

Okay, I have sad news. I got pregnant this month and miscarried before I realized I was pregnant. I'm on bedrest for now trying to recover and waiting for more news from the doctor. So please pray for me.

I am so sad to hear that.
My wife miscarried 6 times before Gareth was born.
Have faith, believe, relax, move on, and most of all, don't place such an emphasis on it.
It will happen if it is meant to.

Well, maybe I am pregnant because they keep doing blood tests and they keep coming postive with higher numbers. I am going to push the doctor and have her have me come in to find out what's going on. Please pray for me.

We've been trying since April 2006. Currently on round 2 of clomid.

We haven't told anyone that we are ttc. We were kinda down around Christmas when 3 close friends told us they were pregnant...some by surprise, and some after only being off the pill for 1 month. Right now, we're just praying that in God's time and in His way, He will bless us with a child.

Just to update this thread. DH and I got pregnant back in November. When I went to my 12-week ultrasound, they discovered the baby never grew past 8.5 week . I had a D&C last Friday night.

I'm sorry for your losses. I know how hard it is.

People ask me how long we've been trying and I have to hesitate. This time around or altogether?

Start to..well, now...6 months for us now, including my miscarriage. I had no idea it was going to be so hard.
