Its just like, why cant there be a magic button, and how come so many teens are getting pregnant on accident... when, most women and men who are of age and married and trying cant!

I hear you. Here's a funny story to illustrate the button thing. I didn't know very much about sex and babies until college. Because I was always hearing "wait until marriage or you could have a baby out of God's time" I figured that when I got married I would be able to have a baby when I wanted to (in God's time aka mine!) I know it's crazy, but an incomplete sex ed will do that. I hope your month comes soon, sis.

DH and I are on cycle # 38, guess that makes it over three years, yikes

It's in my heart though that God's timing is more important than mine

This is month #2 for us, although month #1 would've been very unlikely as dh was sick during my fertile days.

HUGGS! i feel the pain of every one of you that have been trying for what feels like a long time and still not conceiving. I know the pain of hearing every time a sister, cousin or friend is pregnant..wanting to be happy for them..but crying for yourself first!

To put things into perspective...

it took me 16 yrs of trying to concieve before i finally got pregnant with LUke! After Luke was born and i was hoping for a little bro or sis for Luke it took me 2 yrs to get pregnant again..ONLY 2 YRS!! WOW!!

2 yrs to some may seem like an eternity..to others it seems a blink of an eye!! To GOD..both 2 yrs and 16 yrs is just a little blink...REMEMBER THAT!! Its all in his timing..dont EVER give up hope!! I didn't!!

My hubby and I aren't properly TTC per say - like I know some of you girls are "doin it" every 2nd day, we're just kinda seeing how it goes and if it happens it happens.

I guess we're kinda protecting our hopes (only slightly though) from gettin stamped on every month that there's no pregnancy.

We're (officially) on month 2 so far (had the occasional month it could've happened) and no sign of anything (i'm irregular, every 6 wks or so) so i never know what's going to happen. Another few days and it will be 6 wks. Anyone else like that?!

My friends has been trying for 11months and still no pregnancy. I'm scared that I get preggers before her and i hurt her. How do you overcome that? I want her and her hubby to be Godparents so that might ease the blow a little, but i don't want to hurt them. I also don't want to put my hubby's and my life on hold so they can go first.

This just happened to me. I got preggers on my second month and my best friend has been trying for a year! They were still happy for us and I think, it has changed a lot for them. I can't explain how really, but I can tell that their perspective/tactics are changing a bit toward their own attempts to conceive.

In the mean time, I have invited my friend to 'share my womb'. I write her everyday and tell her all the intimate details of how I'm feeling, etc. Sharing her sorrow and my happiness (and fears) has really brought us closer together in a very short time.

Awww...I'm sorry you're feeling so badly.

If it's any consolation, my best friend has been trying for a year without success and I worry she'll be really upset if I get pregnant before she does.

how is your friend dealing?
