I'll try and make a long testimony short that still puts the spotlight on God.
I was a sincere seeker, you can say I was kinda agnostic .
I wondered how the world came about and how we all got here. I found a bible in a closet and opened it to the beginning and read in Genesis how God created the heavens and earth and all that was in it. This made me happy because it seem to help my curiosity. Then I began to read the gospels, I love the stories of Jesus but struggled to believe if it was all true. I came across Matthew 7:7 which says if you ask it will be given, seek you will find and knock and the door will be open to you. So I did just that for several months and one night upon the usual praying and crying out to God to reveal himself to me, I felt the Holy Spirit so undeniably present that my first reaction was one of being utterly impressed. I became a firm believer that night and was filled with joy peace and happy ness.
I was 18 then, 38 now and still following Christ today and forever. I left out much but write the best part. The part where God showed up
