How Jesus ascended to heaven

Hi All

One question is bugging my head

After Jesus is raised after 3 rd day of his crucification he appeared to many for few days and later He decided to ascend to heaven

How it happened? Before it happened Jesus said about accompany of holy spirit and then He ascended to heaven

Here my question comes

How it happened
Did he disappear all of sudden along with body
Or did he leave his body on earth and ascended to heaven with soul
Who was there with Jesus when he said about holy spirit
Who witnessed this
Is there any verse in bible which gives more clarity on this

bangmegafan: Jesus was around longer than a few days, after he was raised from the dead...he was around for 40 days...Acts 1:3.

It is said that He is separated and ascended to heaven, so it means he has ascended before everyone, am i right

Yes.

The big thing to consider is that He left WITH A BODY and therefore should be taking up the same amount of physical space in some location. We tend to think of Him as invisible.

 

[Razare]

His physical resurrected body went to heaven.

Elijah went to heaven in his physical body.

Enoch went to heaven in his physical body.

These are flesh and blood bodies that go into heaven (except Jesus shed his blood.)
