  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

How is your weather right now?

It's cool right now - obviously it's winter in Australia.

It's clear and sunny and has been for a week or so. It's around 16 C at 7: 10pm right now in Brisbane, Australia - so, it's not too cold!

To all the people - if you do love the sunny weather - the clear skies and not too cold winters and not too hot summers - well, Brisbane in Australia, the state capital of Queensland has got to be your choice!

This evening we had an immense storm system come through...for awhile we thought we might get a tornado, but instead we got a HUGE thunderstorm with a few inches of rain. We had at least a half hour or more of constant downpour, which caused for more than a few accidents [it was blinding rain - the highest speed on our wipers weren't enough].

The lightning was amazing though, and beautiful! It stretched from one side of the sky to another, and the lightning lasted for a few seconds each time. The sky was overall purple and the evening was lovely in spite of traveling difficulties.
