Jesus is God. When Jesus was on earth , some folk did not believe that He is God , even though the evidence was right in front of them . Faith is a gift from God to ask for in prayer. The Holy Spirit takes the scales from our eyes and enables us to see The Truth from God's Word, The Bible. Every word of God is pure . The Bible is sharper than a double- edged sword - God's Word is powerful. The Bible is not an ordinary Book.

This doesn't really answer any of my questions.

You are aware that nothing of what you say here is meaningful to anyone who doesn´t already believe in the existence of biblegod, aren´t you?

Why is this not meaningful to you ?
Because I don´t believe that the god you believe exists. If you try and read your own posts from this perspective, you will notice that you are stringing together sentences that mainly consist of words that work from a premise that we don´t agree upon.

So do you only believe that what you can actually see exists ? You can not see the wind, but you know that it exists , as you can feel it. There is much more to this world than what we can see with our eyes. Do you not believe in the supernatural at all , please ?

No, there´s more than merely that which I can see.
You can not see the wind, but you know that it exists , as you can feel it.
Exactly, that and I can see it, too.
It would, however, be an interesting question whether wind *exists*. I would prefer to say it occurs.
There is much more to this world than what we can see with our eyes.
Sure. But that doesn´t make a case for everything to exist that anyone claims exists.

If the wind was an example for what you call "the supernatural", then, yes, I believe in the supernatural.

Can I feel your God? No. I can't detect him with any of my senses, nor can I build some kind of instrument to detect the effects of this God, nor can I try and uncover his existence by some kind of statistical analysis. Your God defies all rational means of detection, which is why I cannot believe in him.

There is much more to this world than what we can see with our eyes. Do you not believe in the supernatural at all , please ?

What is the supernatural? Is the supernatural simply that which we cannot detect with our senses, with instruments or with some kind of experiment? In that case, no, I don't believe in the supernatural - there's no evidence for it - by its very definition.

I can't just believe in something without any reason. I've even gone through the hoops you say I have to - prayed with an open mind - and still come out with nothing.
You all seem to agree that we only can know God if God wants us to. You also seem to agree that we have to come to God. Yet, when I try to do so, against all my instincts, God still doesn't seem to want me to know him.

The simpler explanation is that God just isn't there.

There are a total of 5 senses, you know. We cannot see air, but we can feel it and hear it. We can do experiments to test for it. What experiments can we do to test for God?
(There are actually 7 senses, i read. ) By " Supernatural" i mean " which exists in the realm where we can not ( yet ) usually see this with our eyes."

I cannot (yet) usually see the realm of the other side of the moon, or of America, or even of the wardrobe of my next-door neighbour.
I think you need to refine your definition.

Well, if you wanna get technical, there are a lot more than 7 senses, but to my knowledge humans only have developed, useful versions of 5 of them.

Anyway, if the supernatural cannot be detected through our senses, nor can it be tested for, how can we know it exists? I've never seen any miracles or anything blatantly supernatural, and even if I had, how would I know it was the Christian God doing them?

How would you define supernatural ,please ? I would guess that most on this forum know roughly what supernatural means. I am sorry, i am not so good at giving definition of words.
