But people change over time. People behave differently in different environments under different circumstances. I still feel pretty safe in saying that you don't see most populations.Sick and old people go to the hospital. At some point, that covers most populations. I also have worked at a mental hospital which only took non-voluntary patients. My patients have run from homeless to rich enough that we were kissing ass because they would be donating a new wing when they died. It is a pretty good sampling of the general public.

Out of curiosity, you learn more from people who are always wrong?
I never said I was right all the time. Just that I have the ability to read people pretty good. I have been wrong before. And I have been hurt too.
Anyone have a copy of the book "Shes so not into you" that I could borrow?
Not to mention many people act different in a distressed state, which is more prone to happen at hospitals.
Also people can spend their lives thinking they know people only to be wrong.
Hopefully at discharge, they aren't in a distressed state anymore.
And you are right that people can live their whole lives thinking that they know someone only to be wrong. That could be me too...but most of the time it isn't. Why does it bother people that I know this about myself?

That I am good at reading people....
That I am good at reading people....
I think some people feel like you're trying to have a monopoly on how others feel.
I thought we were talking about how you were against dating younger people. I missed the change.![]()
I didn't say that I was the only one who is good at this.
I don't tell anyone else what to feel. I just am good at recognizing it.
I totally suck at remembering faces. Does that make you feel better.
You won't forget mine(if you saw it that is) I can guarantee you that.
since I doubt that we even live within 100 miles of each other, I suspect that isn't likely to be an issue....
Even compared to the people having this discussion in thread. I think people are good at recognizing aspects of people. I don't think anyone has a good grasp on the full spectrum of people.
