Interesting, lumping in conservatives with communists. So now being conservative is like being a Nazi and communists now?
Perhaps we can assume because it is the news media that may be their intention OR it is to make the appearance of communist and capitals nations working together in the WEF world government more acceptable.

If someone mentioned that Jeffrey Dahmer was a conservative would that mean she thought all conservatives were serial killers?

This assumes Florida isn't the D student of the country in terms of people knowing what they're talking about anyway. And no, I wouldn't just stay out of it when the spread happens far more when people DON'T wear their masks in public areas versus if everyone was doing it.

Immunity is not that simple and to even think that is naive given that the twindemic coming will throw everything out of whack again.

And yet the only time when it would be rational to wear a mask (because who likes their face being cold and numbed by below freezing temperatures? I know I don't) will still have self absorbed people thinking they know better, succumbing to Dunning Kruger and possibly also covid + flu creating a storm that could very well kill you much easier than covid or the flu alone could given comorbidities there that can exacerbate it.

But sure, "respect freedom" even when choices of not getting vaccinated or not wearing a mask in public spaces of high traffic don't exist in a vacuum and definitely don't just affect you.

The amount of narcissism is staggering, to say nothing of schizophrenic delusions, both undiagnosed because of America's self sufficient individualism gone rampant.

The amount of narcissism exhibited in the control freaks in charge whose mask/vaccine/distancing doesn't work unless you are also vaccinated (+ all others listed + fearful) too is truly the staggering delusion.

In reality, Florida is doing better than anyone else right now, despite having a the highest percentage of elderly people in the entire country.

The fact that you want to present is 'not so many people are now dying' ? Well, OK.
Deaths in free and open Florida were never as numerous as in locked down/heavily mandated New York, control freak central of the country, when Cuomo was preening in the spotlight prior to his exposure (no pun intended).

As of one hour ago: COVID-19 hospitalizations in the state are up 46% over the last two weeks, according to a New York Times database. The only other state with a higher spike in that time was New Hampshire, where hospitalizations increased 58%. Michigan had a higher per capita rate of hospitalizations than all but one state, North Dakota. COVID-19 cases in Michigan are up 78% over the last two weeks, according to The Times’ database. Only three states have bigger increases over that time.

Florida cases - though having MORE elderly - are way down. In Florida, there were 0 newly reported COVID-19 cases and 0 newly reported COVID-19 deaths on Nov 18, 2021 Florida coronavirus cases and deaths

My apologies, I broke my “no vaccine threads” personal policy.
Carry on.

Obviously. People are still out in the sun getting their vitamin D. The rest of the country as you go north has shortened daylight and colder temps keeping people indoors. As a result no more D from the sun and without vitamins their levels and immunity drops so they double their chances of infections. Also light skin readily produces D but that drops off the darker the skin gets, so a lighter skinned population count in an area will remain healthier while darker skinned people need double the D.

Above the Kansas/Nebraska border, nobody living a normal urban American lifestyle is getting adequate sunlight for sufficient vitamin D production regardless of skin color. Field workers in the sun during the summer, maybe. But nobody else.

When the pandemic hit, America needed someone to turn to for advice. The media and public naturally looked to Dr. Anthony Fauci—the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, an esteemed laboratory immunologist and one of President Donald Trump's chosen COVID advisers. Unfortunately, Dr. Fauci got major epidemiology and public health questions wrong. Reality and scientific studies have now caught up with him.

Here are the key issues:

Natural immunity. By pushing vaccine mandates, Dr. Fauci ignores naturally acquired immunity among the COVID-recovered, of which there are more than 45 million in the United States. Mounting evidence indicates that natural immunity is stronger and longer lasting than vaccine-induced immunity. In a study from Israel, the vaccinated were 27 times more likely to get symptomatic COVID than the unvaccinated who had recovered from a prior infection.
...
Protecting the elderly. While anyone can get infected, there is more than a thousand-fold difference in mortality risk between the old and the young. After more than 700,000 reported COVID deaths in America, we now know that lockdowns failed to protect high-risk older people. When confronted with the idea of focused protection of the vulnerable, Dr. Fauci admitted he had no idea how to accomplish it, arguing that it would be impossible. That may be understandable for a lab scientist, but public health scientists have presented many concrete suggestions that would have helped, had Fauci and other officials not ignored them.
...
School closures. Schools are major transmission points for influenza, but not for COVID. While children do get infected, their risk for COVID death is minuscule, lower than their already low risk of dying from the flu. Throughout the 2020 spring wave, Sweden kept daycare and schools open for all its 1.8 million children ages 1 to 15, with no masks, testing or social distancing. The result? Zero COVID deaths among children and a COVID risk to teachers lower than the average of other professions. In fall 2020, most European countries followed suit, with similar results. Considering the devastating effects of school closures on children, Dr. Fauci's advocacy for school closures may be the single biggest mistake of his career.
...
Collateral public health damage. A fundamental public health principle is that health is multidimensional; the control of a single infectious disease is not synonymous with health. As an immunologist, Dr. Fauci failed to properly consider and weigh the disastrous effects lockdowns would have on cancer detection and treatment, cardiovascular disease outcomes, diabetes care, childhood vaccination rates, mental health and opioid overdoses, to name a few. Americans will live with—and die from—this collateral damage for many years to come.

In private conversations, most of our scientific colleagues agree with us on these points. While a few have spoken up, why are not more doing so? Well, some tried but failed. Others kept silent when they saw colleagues slandered and smeared in the media or censored by Big Tech. Some are government employees who are barred from contradicting official policy. Many are afraid of losing positions or research grants, aware that Dr. Fauci sits on top of the largest pile of infectious disease research money in the world. Most scientists are not experts on infectious disease outbreaks. Were we, say, oncologists, physicists or botanists, we would probably also have trusted Dr. Fauci.

How Fauci fooled America | Opinion

Absolutely.

And remember when this all started, Fauci said NOT to wear masks?

That didn’t change based on science, but based on control of the masses, which is one of the globalist goals.

The masks are designed for much bigger bacteria - the holes are 200% larger than the COVID virus - which is why studies show no difference in infection rates between no masks, and masks.

I guess that governments across the world and across the whole political spectrum from far right to far left are busy contacting each other to plan this globalist goal. So Ireland, North Korea, NZ, UK, Sweden, Switzerland, Nigeria...they're all in touch on a daily basis to make sure the masses are controlled.

And if you have covid, do you think when you breathe out, all that comes out is a little cloud of tiny viruses? How can we be two years into this and the basics of what one needs to do to stay safe are still not understood?

Pretty sure social distancing and masking would be effective if we didn't have willful children that happen to be mature adults that have a mentality that I'd expect in someone under 12. It's not a guarantee that things get better if mandates are put in place, but when people follow this basic "common sense" idea in terms of public behavior as a temporary preventative measure, things would've been better.

But nope, misinformation spread as fast, if not more than the highly transmissible virus and thus we have more people dead than practically all American deaths in every modern war we've been in.

Maybe because the elderly aren't as rock stupid as the young people and maintain social distancing better. Assuming it must be because everyone is doing their part is naive

But it will just as all others have in the past. It is his enemies who claimed he expected immediate results. Even pandemics get politicized, not by the politicians but by the people seeking to divide.
Smallpox didn't just go away.

Neither did Polio, Measles, Diptheria, Whooping Cough, etc.

Smallpox was around for millennia before vaccines erased its presence from the world. From the time of the erecting of the pyramids ... until the late 1970's ...

That's simply not true ... Florida's deaths/per million rate is 8th highest in the country ... behind (in order of highest rate of death) ... Mississippi, Alabama, New Jersey, Louisiana, Arizona, New York, and Arkansas ...

So ... scientifically, nothing changed at all from the time Fauci made this pronouncement ?

Percentage of Americans infected, creation of new variants, development of treatments, nothing ???

Fauci made the announcement when USA had somewhere around 15 known cases and when production/supply of masks was very low. Fauci said that the situation may change.

Detractractors of Fauci, claim that Fauci was saying something unchanging and infallible and if his position ever changes then we are never ever to believe him on anything ever.

Nothing changed - the holes in the masks are still 200% bigger than the virus, and are still useless to filter out viruses.

Kind of like filtering sand with a fishing net.

Meanwhile, a half dozen studies not surprisingly show no difference in infection rates between masked and non masked.

They are waaay bigger than twice the size. But they aren't designed to filter individual viruses. Is that how you thought they were meant to work? You should read up on these matters before you post on them.
