Had anyone but Mr Personality himself been the presenter of that important documentary I would have gladly parted with the £7 to go see it. Unfortunately I am kinda picky about where I sleep and the local cineworld would not be an ideal place to rest my head. Ah well I get comfort in my shoes and can't wait to have a superior view of the road when I'm driving. Who knows I might just actually use the 4by4 off road. Mmmmm....probably not......

Yes, Satan may attack you, and he attacks his demons as well. The poor little demons.

That's why I've got a recruiting campaign going on. I'm trying to convince some of Satan's demons to apply for a transfer to Heck, where Phil and his minions mildly annoy minor sinners for a limited time!

The demons are getting tired of Satan's attacks, and Phil provides free coffee, stirred with my pitch-spoon, not to mention a competitive benefits package!

Hopefully, when the trolls in accounting finish with the transfer paperwork, I'll have an abundant supply of Heck-demons to mildly annoy people. Then, if you are a minor sinner, you can be really, really afraid.

That is neither scriptural nor theologically sound. If you can find a way to justify that in your mind, oh well, you have an excuse for everything that you do... good for you. I prefer to take responsibility for my own temptations and faithfullness.

As long as my eyes are focused upon God, I don't know and I don't really care about anything the OP asks. I'd rather not exchange my view of God with that of Satan as we are called to do in the OP. God's the one I'm pulled to be closer to and to know better and to ask these questions about, not Satan...I don't give a hoot to know anything about Satan. He's NOT in my line of sight for anything! Satan is totally non-existent to me. For me, there is ONLY my Beloved God.

I've often thought some Christians spend to much time giving attention to Satan even if it is negative. Satan this and Satan that...and people wonder why they can not seem to get him "of their backs". People keep calling his name all the time. Keep calling his name and he will show up.

Is Satan EQUAL TO GOD? Of course not!! Is Satan even infinitessimally comparable to God in power? Of course not!! Could Satan, supposedly one of the brightest of angels, reasonably believe that he could overthrow God and claim the throne of Heaven? If he believed that he was either insane or had some reason to think that God would not care what he did.... since God created Satan, I find it hard to swallow that Satan is insane (although maybe Satan was around for billions of years before the rebellion, and was driven insane out of jealousy or such and such), so I figure God must have led Satan to believe that Satan could get away with an attempt to depose God, which must be part of God's plan....

Could God have destroyed Satan outright? Of course!! Just as easily as God could have made man incapable of sin.... but God chose to create Hell (which by the way is a metaphor for being apart from God, not a lake of fire with demons and stuff), and put Satan there, and in fact let Satan RULE there, and continue to interfere in man's life on earth.... again all part of the plan.... so remember, whatever Satan's function is, he's God's creation and exists and meddles to the extent that God permits him to do so, and (apparently knowing the truth of God's power) does not seek the forgiveness that would be granted if he sought it....

In short, Satan, whatever he does, he does it because God needs for it to be done to maintain the balance of the Universe!!

Ok, well maybe that was a bit over the top, but the point is that if Satan exists, Satan is as much part of God's creation as anything, we just need to recognize that....

Isnt the problem that Satan was/is trying to run everything? The universe was made from Gd, God is knit to all, like Gods great big body. So it isnt even possible for anyone else to run this show... Satans been peed off about it ever since.

You can fight an opponent, but you cant beat their body if it exists in all.

Quite frankly, I don't care one bit. I keep my eyes on my Beloved God, where they belong. Period! God is my Satan be gone.
