I recall seeing a metal disc that you can glue sandpaper onto that could be put in a saw, as for a router no way they have too high of an RPM for a saw to keep up with maybe something more like a molding machine. You could put in a diamond cutting disc and use it to cut tile perhaps. I've used saws to cut extruded aluminum also.

BTW it isn't a radio arm but a radial arm saw.

Just buy dedicated power tools. Changing one tool into another is a pain.
