Yes, Zechariah 8, God promised Israel he will live with them in Jerusalem.

3 Thus saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain.

4 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; There shall yet old men and old women dwell in the streets of Jerusalem, and every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

5 And the streets of the city shall be full of boys and girls playing in the streets thereof.

7 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people from the east country, and from the west country;

8 And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

22 Yea, many people and strong nations shall come to seek the Lord of hosts in Jerusalem, and to pray before the Lord.

23 Thus saith the Lord of hosts; In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold out of all languages of the nations, even shall take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying, We will go with you: for we have heard that God is with you.

So yes, wherever he is, that is heaven for the nation of Israel. The term "my people" in Scripture always refers to Israel (Matthew 1:21)
So your contention, therefore, is that this passage depicts the BEGINNING of the Milleennium?:

Revelation 21:1-3
21 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. 2 Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

That is after. Rev 20 is the start

How do you square that with you claim that the New Jerusalem Comes down from heaven at the beginning of the Millennium, when Revelation 21:1-3 clearly has it not coming Down from heaven until AFTER the Millennium?

Does it come down before, fly back up, then come down again perhaps?

I didn't say the New Jerusalem Comes down from heaven. You used that particular phrase.

I said Yes, Zechariah 8, God promised Israel he will live with them in Jerusalem.

If Zechariah 8 is referring to Rev 21 events, that the final verse in Zechariah 8 will not make any sense.

There will be no unbelieving gentile after the battle of Gog and Magog, who will need to go with Jews to seek the Lord in the mountains of Jerusalem.

Clarification. God's Election are priests, revelation chapter 1, first Peter chapter 1, romans chapter 8, Ezekiel chapter 44.
The kings are the ethnos = nations =, gentiles. They have thier own kings and queens. Get the picture!
James chapter 3. Teachers/pastors will be very strictly judged by Jesus near future. Teachers are responsible for what they teach and say. Jesus will hold the shepherds accountable !!.
The Zadok, Elect, will be priest's during millennium. It's time of teaching and discipline for the spirtualty dead.
The ethnos will be leaders of thier people. Gentiles have their own kings and queens.
Jesus is king of Israel and judah.
Revelation chapter 21:24. The kings and queens of the Ethnos will be in the Eternity.
Only Gods Elect, zadok are allowed near Jesus during the millennium. Ezekiel chapter 44 will document this.
The ethnos have different functions.
