What I was aiming at bro, was in terms of sovereign values,
God's perspective & judgement will always be perfect even when ours is telling us otherwise.
So I agree with your answers completely and applaud you for your facility with both the word & this medium.
Rock on, Ref. I call this good surfin' dude!

Oh. Sorry about not picking up on that. Now that you say this it is quite clear that is what you're addressing. I can be kinda dense sometimes. :D

Thanks for the kind words,
God bless

I'd be happy to help but I don't know which messages you're referring to. Can you be more specific?

Thanks,

Yo Ref,
I think I can resonate w/Malaka on this, even tho I think the expression "two wills" is a bit awkward & can be misleading for many.
What I mean is, that I agree w/Malaka, as I'm sure you do, that God is not "the author" of sin. Sin being the fruition of lusts arising from the hearts of men.

I am a bit split on this "perfect" and "permissive" will concept. I know that God has different ways of bringing about His divine Plan but the implications of a "permissive" will, in my opinion, strip God from His sovereign role in those circumstances. People use that term as if God looks at all of history and sees something that will happen and says, "Okay, I'll let that stay." It's just not the way things go. Things don't happen by chance. Yes, man has a nature. He has desires that compel him according to that nature. However, he is not autonomous from the sovereign control of God. God doesn't just "allow" something to happen. He doesn't just "allow" calamity. He brings it. When we understand that it is only by the grace of God that we respond in godliness to any temptation we ever encounter then to say that God permits us to experience something that requires that He withhold His grace but say that it was not He who ordained such a thing to come to pass, rather He just saw that it was going to happen apart from His sovereign Plan and He allowed it to continue as it naturally would have takes God too far out of the loop.

That little person on your lap looks like he finally met someone he can relax around.

LOL! Yeah, he did a lot of relaxing in those days too. It was like I had some kind of sleeping agent in my chest that as soon as his head would touch it, he was out. Now, he is a little live wire and is on the go 24/7.

Here's a newer picture of him.

God bless,
Don
