Here is the rebuke of the Lord.
The proverbs, the words of the wise and their dark sayings.
A wise man hears, increasing his learning, and the man of understanding attains to wise counsels.
The fear of the Lord, is the beginning of knowledge, fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:5 A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels:
6 To understand a proverb, and the interpretation; the words of the wise, and their dark sayings.
7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:22 How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge?
Reprove the scorner, and he will hate you, rebuke a wise man and he will love you.
Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be wiser, and the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy, is understanding.
The wise in heart will receive commandments, the fool falls ( in them)
He that walks uprightly, walks sure, he that is perverse in his ways is known, winking with the eye the fool shall fall..
Proverbs 9:8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.
10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.
Proverbs 10:8 The wise in heart will receive commandments: but a prating fool shall fall.
9 He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.
10 He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall.
A wise son hears his fathers instruction, the scorner hears not rebuke.
The wholesome tongue is a tree of life, but perverseness in it is a breach in the spirit.
The fool despises his fathers instruction, he that regards reproof is prudent.
Smiting a scorner, makes the simple beware, and reproving one that has understanding, he will understand knowledge...
Proverbs 13:1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
Proverbs 15:4 A wholesome tongue is a tree of life: but perverseness therein is a breach in the spirit.
5 A fool despiseth his father's instruction: but he that regardeth reproof is prudent.
Proverbs 19:25 Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware: and reprove one that hath understanding, and he will understand knowledge.
These also belong to the wise.
Respect of persons is not good ( flattery) to say to the wicked, that they are righteous, it is abhorred, but to them that rebuke him shall be delight, a good blessing comes upon them.
He that rebukes a man, afterwards finds more favour, than he that flatters with the tongue.
It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than to hear the song of fools..
Proverbs 24:23 These things also belong to the wise. It is not good to have respect of persons in judgment.
24 He that saith unto the wicked, Thou are righteous; him shall the people curse, nations shall abhor him:
25 But to them that rebuke him shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.
Proverbs 28:23 He that rebuketh a man afterwards shall find more favour than he that flattereth with the tongue.
Ecclesiastes 7:5 It is better to hear the rebuke of the wise, than for a man to hear the song of fools.
Behold, the Lord came with fire, to render his rebuke with flames of fire.
By fire and sword the Lord pleaded with all flesh, and the slain of the Lord was many.
With righteousness he judged the poor, and reproved with equity for the meek of the earth, and smote the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips He slayed the wicked ( judgment given)..
Isaiah 65:15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.
Isaiah 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
They hate him who rebukes in the gate, they abhor him that speaks uprightly.
Many nations say, come and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, and He will teach them His ways.
He judged among many people, and rebuked strong nations afar off. ( He preached the Gospel of peace)..
Amos 5:10 They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.
Micah 4:2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
The people laughed Jesus to scorn.
Jesus put all the people out, and then said for her to arise.
Jesus rebuked Peter, ( who had influence of satan) to not savour what is of men, but what is of God ( laying your life down to the death)
The disciples James and John asked if fire should be brought down to destroy men, Jesus rebuked them, again, that they do not know what spirit ( evil) they were of..
Mark 5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he taketh the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and entereth in where the damsel was lying.
41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto thee, arise.
Mark 8:33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.
Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
Jesus taught His disciples.
If your brother trespasses, to rebuke him, and if he repents to forgive him.
Jesus then taught, that after we have done all of the things that are commanded us ( by Christ) to consider ourselves only doing what is our duty to do. ( reasonable service to present our bodies a living sacrifice to God)
Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Luke 17:3 Take heed to yourselves: If thy brother trespass against thee, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
4 And if he trespass against thee seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.
Luke 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?
8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?
9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.
10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.
Jesus taught more instruction.
If your brother shall trespass against you, tell him the fault, and if he hears you, you gained him as a brother.
If he will not hear, to tell it to the two witnesses ( the Father and the Son) and tell it to the church, ( where God dwells) and let him be to you as a heathen man..
Matthew 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
That we may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke, in the middle of a crooked perverse world,, shining as lights (in its darkness)
Them that sin then, to rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
Some are open beforehand in sins, going to the judgement ( of God)
The good works of some are manifest beforehand ( before the righteous judgement of the Lord) and all who are otherwise cannot hide themselves..
Philippians 2:15 That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
1 Timothy 5:20 Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
1 Timothy 5:24 Some men's sins are open beforehand, going before to judgment; and some men they follow after.
25 Likewise also the good works of some are manifest beforehand; and they that are otherwise cannot be hid.
Showing in our speech, uncorruptness, sincerity, sound speech, that cannot be condemned, so that they on the contrary part may be ashamed, when they have no evil thing to say of you. ( falsely accuse you of)
Not answering back again, and teaching us to deny ungodliness ( not to deny Christ in ungodliness) and worldly lusts, to live righteously and godly in this present ( evil) world, looking for our savious Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from ALL INQIUITY, and to purify unto Himself a peculiar people ( who the evil world cant understand) are zealous of good works.
These things are spoken and exhorted and are rebuked with all authority.
As many as the Lord loves, He rebukes and chastens. Be zealous therefore and repent....
Titus 2:7 In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
8 Sound speech, that cannot be condemned; that he that is of the contrary part may be ashamed, having no evil thing to say of you.
9 Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters, and to please them well in all things; not answering again;
10 Not purloining, but shewing all good fidelity; that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Saviour in all things.
11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.
15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.
Revelation 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
The Lord said to execute true judgment, to show mercy and compassion, every man to his brother. To imagine no evil against your brother, and to oppress not the widow, the fatherless or the stranger.
They made their hearts as an adamant stone, to not hear the words which the Lord had sent in His Spirit by the former prophets..
Zechariah 7:9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
11 But they refused to hearken, and pulled away the shoulder, and stopped their ears, that they should not hear.
12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.
Then we remember the words which were spoken before of the Apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ.
How there will be mockers in the last time, who walk after their own ungodly lusts. They are sensual, separate ( different/divided church sects) and they have not the Spirit.
Of some we have compassion making a difference.
Of others you save with fear, pulling them out of the fire ( of hell and destruction) hating even the garment spotted by the flesh ( to be unspotted and blamelessly presented before the Lord)..
Jude 1:17 But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
19 These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
Jude 1:22 And of some have compassion, making a difference:
23 And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.
Then by well doing, you put to silence the ignorance of foolish men. Without maliciousness, but as the servant of God.
This is worthy of thanks, in conscience toward God, to endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
This is what we were called to, Christ also suffered, leaving us an example, to follow His steps, doing no sin, and no guile found in the mouth, when revilved, to not revile again, to suffer and not threaten, but commiting to Him that judges righteously.
Christ, who bore our sins in His own body on the tree ( that gives life, this is now the tree of life) that we being dead to sins, now live unto righteousness, as His stripes we were healed ( of all unrighteousness) that led to our death ( in unbelief)..
1 Peter 2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:
16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
1 peter 2:19 For this is thankworthy, if a man for conscience toward God endure grief, suffering wrongfully.
20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
