I figured I'd make one huge thread of this and find out how you know when you feel someone likes you more then a friend.

i'm the wrong person to try to answer this. I didn't know my bf liked me until he told me

i mean i had suspicions from the way he was acting (spending lots of time trying to talk to me, flirting, etc..) but i can be pretty oblivious when it comes to that sort of thing soooo...

I didn't know that my bf liked me until he told me... because we were friends for 6-7years before we start going out.
I guess he kind of confused me a bit with his feeling, we were hanging out ALOT more often and he would msg me or call me everyday....we were friends for 6-7years, but we didn't hang out or talk everyday, we probably used to contact each other once a year or something because we were so busy and he was in UK for a bit.

So I guess if someone likes you then, they would contact you all the time/hanging out with you a lot more often than before?!?

I'm no longer a believer in reading hints. Its too confusing and usually doesn't turn out well. Unless there are BLATANT signs, like where you don't have to ask people, then just ignore them. But then again, even blatant signs can be wrong. Thats why its best for guys to just come out and say it.

There really aren't many ways of telling at all!!!

Although, when one of my friends liked my sister, he made it very obvious. They'd have a brief conversaion in a group after church, and he'd SMS that night saying how much he enjoyed talking to her, and they should do it again some time Yep, he was completely obvious. Other guys I've observed, not so much. In my own relationship, I can't say I'm much help... I was crazy about him, and the world could see that LOL. Him? He acted coupley with me (offer to split meals with me when we were out with friends, cuddle me lots, wrestle with me, throw compliments at me...) yet he didn't even want a relationship (with me or anyone).
