Thanks, I've been strugling with how to witness to my loved ones, as a new christian myself.
I don't want to come off sounding all "high and mighty", but I wouldn't take the sin thing too far if you know what I mean...
All they need to hear is they are broken, don't drive them away from you. Even if they have to hear it bits and pieces at a time. I screwed up when I was witnessing to my father. He is an evolutionist, and a deist. He believes there is a God that created everything, but after that he just let things go. In his particular version, God created the big bang and things were on their own from there. I told him that evolution was stupid. I said he was stupid for agreeing with it. I regret that a lot. The rest of the time we even discussed the issue in passing all he would hear is me calling him stupid. Doesn't matter how much truth I had or how much knowledge I had. If all he heard was "stupid" I was going nowhere, and that's where I went. That was over 2 years ago. My Dad is still not saved. He is coming along though. He needs prayer.
Anyway, my point is that if you condemn and accuse them you won't get anywhere. If it was me, I would just tell them what they did and that in God's eyes, and His law, it is wrong, and He is there to love and bring them back to Him.
Peace
