How do most of you deal with lying ? I just often have situations or either in my school where There is no way that i just could say truth. If i say the truth then I would sound crazy.

You don't sound crazy for telling the truth, people who don't want truth will not receive it, this is shown in the Bible many times.

As well situations with your CV where I don't have much working experience and If I write the truth then probably I won't be able to get work. How to deal with that? Because now i am in such situations that I don't know what should I do.

A newbie who is starting out should always include in their CV that
they are willing to learn.
I did that on mine and still got hired when I first applied for my first public
job the day after I graduated from high school...I put in job applications all
over town and got positive feedback, it was harder deciding on which job offer
to accept because the companies who extended job offers were good places to
work at and they were also willing to do on the job training.
I went with the company that was close to where I was living.

Please remember that omission of information is not lying unless it is intended to mislead from the truth.
We do not need to tell someone our thoughts to the tee, i.e if asked "does my bum look big in these pants" we may say with all honesty "you look fine to me" because we accept them as they are.
Besides big is in the eye of the beholder.
There was an African man on dr Phil i think ? who lost physical attraction to his wife after she lost much of her derriere from dieting.

Sorry but its very easy.. tell the truth or say nothing. For SOME here lets take babies.. How many times did you go see someones new baby? Did ANYONE say.. WOW.. blood of JESUS.. is that normal? Should that head be that big? :) but we dont'.. what a beautiful baby. Did you really think so? One could just say.. wow you must be so happy.. or the like.

I only said that because it would seem HOW do you get around it. We don't lie. We live in the flesh.. and the flesh has not been changed YET. IT LOVES TO SIN.. your SPIRIT that is made NEW by GOD because you believe in JESUS can not ever sin..does not ever sin. So what is of the flesh will never enter heaven.. but YOU will. We all have sin.. if we say we don't we deceive our selfs and the truth is not in us.

so.. when those moments pop up.. take a sec.. and ask Jesus to help you.. you will WILL find.. He will help you. Is HE not in you? Relax.. trust Him.. HAVE FUN!

Really Rev 21:8 "But..fearful,unbelieving,abominable,murderers,whoremongers,sourcerers,idolators, and ALL liars, shall have their part in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death."
Nah, doens't make sense since it would mean the bible is wrong since if your saved you go to heaven. So if you lie just once while saved, you go to hell? Nah.

The thread says how do you deal with lying, this implies it is not only once.

No it is not because we lie (sin) once, even 70x7 it is lying even after conviction and Gods offers of grace to enable us to stop.

You either believe the bible or you dont i guess. It does no good to dismiss plain bible verses, or is God just joking around.

The bible is always speaking of unrepentant sin. It says liars (those who willfully tell lies). Those who tell lies not under temptation.
Abraham told lies when his life was in danger, and it was overlooked because of the dispensation he was under, "but now God commands all me to repent"

Well everyone must have a first job where they start with no experience whatsoever so it's not a shame to have an "empty" CV at some point. No reason to lie and like a lot of people said here, you'll get a fired with a bad reputation if you lie about your work history. Be honest instead and tell them about your education, hobbies, volunteer positions, interests etc. and be prepared to take a beginner position and to learn!

As to your teacher, if you find there's flaws in the way he/she treats you and teaches, maybe it's about time to tell her that. If I were in a teaching position, I would appreciate direct feedback from my students so I could improve my work. Maybe if she hears an honest (not attacking or rude!!) comment about her class maybe she'll find ways of doing things better. If you have not interest in doing it then just drop it. Say nothing.

I think not lying is a part of being responsible and good. But it's definitely not an issue that would concern your salvation. It's a sin among others, and I'm fairly certain there's not going to be a person who can honestly say they've never lied even once in the last judgement. Or that they haven't committed other sins. We're sinners and saints in the same time, forgiven and sanctified by the Holy spirit in us. God loves us as we are, liars, thieves, murderers and all kinds of honest and working people. Of course we are to do our best, but pretending to never sin is a big fat lie and it makes the gospel useless.

While i know i am not without sin, you are confusing justification, with sanctification. Sanctification is the removal BY the Holy Spirit of ALL sin in THIS life as an instantaneous act of God. The command to "be perfect as your father in heaven is perfect" is nonsense if it is not possible.
It does not mean to be perfect in the same measure as God, but to be as humanly perfect as Jesus was. Paul and Peter both claimed it and many others have also testified to it over the centuries.
I will concede that 95% of the church never will, but only because they have been falsely taught it is not possible, preferring to believe the traditions of men. Just because something is everywhere believed and often quoted or repeated does not make it true.

And to say unrepentant lying will not lead to hell is to add to scripture Rev 21:8

Well you're saying you're not without sin. Aren't you saved then? According to your own teaching you're not. If you've sinned then you're not as perfect as Jesus is, period. And you're not perfect as your father in heaven. Paul said in his letter to the Romans that he commits the sins he doesn't want to, so even he said he was not without sin. The writer of Hebrews assumes all of us have sins (Hebrews 4:15, 13:11 for example state that he took our sins and that only after our resurrection will we be without sin). As to that one passage in Revelations, I think you're reading it quite harshly. Peter was a coward and yet he was saved, wasn't he? Then that verse wouldn't mean what you're reading into it. It is not in the Bible to single out those sins for everyone to not do avoid to avoid going to hell.

I dont think you read my post carefully, either that or you dont understand the difference between Justification (salvation by the blood of Jesus) and Sanctification (cleansing the heart from all desire to sin by the blood of Jesus).

Paul was not speaking of his present condition but was speaking of the pre salvation, salvation thru to sanctification, Rom 6-8.
Paul said he was without fault, blameless before God and man, if thats not sinlessness what is.

One act of cowardness does not make a person a coward, esp if they later prove themselves changed. Have you not read how he stood up
and preached fearlessly to the same pharisee`s and crowds that crucified Jesus, and 3000 gave their lives to Christ.

I dont mean to sound short or offended (which im not), but if you have a preconceived view of the matter and don`t wish to advance from what you already know, then i suggest you keep moving on, as i wont spend time where minds are already made up.

Being without fault, blameless before God is being justified. Justification is not being or becoming sinless. Justification comes from God, in form of faith. You're saying only through sanctification, that in your view only happens by becoming sinless, can anyone be right before God. In my opinion that is contrary to the gospel and this is why I keep responding to you. I think it is just outright wrong to preach law instead of grace. A sinless person is an oxymoron that doesn't happen in real life - christian or not. Have you ever heard of Luther's stance that a christian is both justified and a sinner? That's what I advocate here as well. Being sanctified means growing in grace, not in the works of law. It means that the very undeserved justification in you frees you to do some good as well, but still acknowledge that you will not deserve any reward for your good works, for in the end, you're only chances of doing good start with the presupposition that God has saved you from whatever sin you've done or will ever do.

I have read about what Peter did later but where do you draw the line? Does committing two cowardly acts make you a coward? Does it make you a coward if you make a big cowardly act only once but don't prove yourself extra brave later on? If you're not a legalist now then I don't know who is. It sounds very much like you're counting peoples lies and telling them they're on the way to hell for them. That's legalism. Also bear in mind what Romans 2:1 says. That's gospel.

Let me tell you a story. Before I found my way to God, I was an exceptional liar. It went so far as me forging university documents and building complex networks of lies. You know where this led? It almost destroyed me. It was draining to keep it up. Now I am especially stingy about it and the Spirit keeps me from doing it again.

Here is the thing. There is no situation where it is impossible to say the truth. The sacrifice of Christ gives you a choice. If you are guided by the Spirit, you will choose rightly. Seeing as you worry about it, you know that it is wrong.

When it comes to half truths or lying for a righteous cause... That is complicated. I dislike half truths, because they often involve a personal agenda. A salesman with hidden information comes to mind.
Having said that, every situation is unique. God looks at our hearts. Is it wrong to not tell something that will cause a lot of damage? Is it wrong to lie to save a life? It all depends. I like to use Les Miserables as an example. The Priest lied for Valjean, saving his life and turning him into a godly person (“My life he claimed for God above”).

If we take your CV, for example. It is best not to lie. It will come out. Be honest and explain the situation. Go there personally, so they will know you. Write a motivational letter. All people start slowly. I have to deal with a degree that lasted 3 years longer than it should have due to addiction and have far less working experience than others my age. Now I have to deal with it. I neve try to justify it though.
In your school example, is it a personal agenda that drives you? Are you afraid to be shamed? Being shamed for honesty is part of our trials. You need to stand up for your mistakes. Are you lying for someone else? Are they repentant? Or do they use the situation? It all depends.

As a rule of thumb, I always prefer honestly and full disclosure. Sins for righteousness’ sake are still sins at the end of the day, and are very easy to justify. But every situation is unique. Pray for discernment and let the Spirit guide you ;)

I never said justication was sinlessness, I said sanctification is.

I also dont go around counting anyones sins.

Good bye, go your own way then,
