You don't have to keep dealing with people who are attempting to constantly harrass you to believe as they do.
How do you not let the Atheists get to you & your faith?
We have SO much information at our disposal, that we can't possibly get through everything we'd like to in a day. Start valuing your survival more. Your personal health. Make your pursuits efficient, toward a better life.
If something is dragging you down, then find what lifts you up, and set aside the first. This sounds so simplistic, but we really need to use our choices well to get through these cluttered lives we have. The Information Age has many casualties.
Decide for yourself that you won't try to decided about God right now. Just connect with Him where you need help, and change the subject if your mind starts to go into "what if I shouldn't believe He's there."
Approval from people comes and goes, and it would be a shame to base our eternal lives on what shelters us from intimidation.
People who love to speak against Jesus are skilled intimidators. The thrill is not in finding truth and understanding of eternity, but in putting themselves above another person. If you believed in leprechauns, they would use the same arguments.
I am not talking about quiet considerate atheists, because I don't think you are either. A person can really feel beaten down after a day online.
If it's your friends that are challenging you, then just change the subject. People will usually shift thoughts if presented with a new question.
How can Christians say that the world was created in...
Hey, I heard your sister was moving to Toledo.
Yes, we helped her pack yesterday.
Simple. Gather up some questions in your head that will keep you out of negative conversations. Being in control of the direction of conversation also works for appeasing mother-in-laws, keeping school grades confidential, and covering up a shopping binge.
Hey look up, is that a bird?
