Well, that's God's decision. If they have been guilty of murder, rape etc and they did not know the extent of the sin they committed because they did not know God but when in prison someone preached to them and they sincerely repented of what they did and had remorse, then they might be forgiven. Jesus did forgive one of the criminals who was crucified along with Him. But on the other hand, if you know the Lord, know that these deeds deserve eternal death yet committed such acts then you could end up in hell.

Are you born again? Have you had essentially a heart transplant performed by the Lord where you now desire God/His Word/ Jesus, whereas before you had no desire to know Him?
If you are born again you will not desire harm on another. If you are not born again, even if you are 'kind' and never murder someone you still will go to hell. You must be born again.

Batism is a sign or act proclaiming our identity in Christ. Many can be water baptised that are not born again.
Read John 3. It has more to do with embracing Christ's death for our sins than being immersed/sprinkled with water.

Knowing that you're saved cannot be told to you by the world or the world system. It is between you and God that you could ever know that you were.

Other people, all we could ever see is the fruit of your salvation or speak words on behalf of God. But there are people who seem to have fruit of salvation, but what looks like fruit to us is not fruit to God. God looks at the heart, men look at the outward appearance of things. 1 Samuel 16:7

I can tell you how to be saved, but not whether you are saved.

A lot of Christians have trouble knowing they are saved because they aren't saved. They just belong to a religious group that *thinks* they are saved, but they have zero relationship with God, so they don't even know his Son Jesus.

And a lot of these religious people will argue how they are saved, and when they tell you this argument of how they are saved if they start pointing to their group... Catholic, Lutheran, Reformed, ect. and they are not pointing to their salvation purchased in Jesus Christ, lookout, they have strayed into gross error, they are spreading a falsehood, so steer clear of what they say.

Whether they would be saved or not, I don't know, but certainly they have no knowledge of their salvation if they were saved.

If you get to know someone well, and you minister to them on behalf of God, then God will reveal what their status with him is sometimes, to help you help that person. But other than this, we would mostly be in the dark guessing at whether someone were headed for heaven or not.

Also, as a side-note, being "saved" is not going to heaven when you die. This is a false idea. Salvation was always more than just going to heaven when you die, so it's wrong to apply salvation verses to going to heaven when we die.

Andrew Wommack teaches on the last two points. Murdering a person can't send you to hell. It does mean you can kill people and avoid going to hell.

Does it mean you will want to, or that you should? No.

Also, with the later two points, you can become demon possessed to the point that you do lose salvation. Loss of salvation happens by renouncing the Son, Jesus Christ. If you deny him, he denies you.

Unfortunately, giving you the Biblical answer I would give a person who came to our church and asked this is a violation of the CF rules. So good luck.

In order to answer the question, we must at least consider the possibility that the person asking may not be saved. But of course, the moderators will give you an infraction for suggesting somebody may not meet the Biblical criteria by which we're to judge salvation. I once got an infraction just for stating that the Reformation was a real historical event Evidently, in CFland, that's a secret code for "Catholics are not Christians".

But there are criteria to be met in order to be a Christian and even Jesus, who I'm sure the moderators would have banned long ago, said that not everybody who says to Him "Lord, Lord" actually belongs to Him. Jesus would get an infraction for that here

According to the moderators' theology, the Kingdom of God is easier to get into that the Columbia House Record and Tape Club.

Yes its a very PC site for sure....I offended a liberal and that will get you in how water very quickly as well.....I realy don't expect to be here long.....the progressive liberal brand of Christianity is just another competitor in the marketplace of ideas and as such must attract followers which in our day involves marketing and appeal and little else.

He will help you but not do it for you, you have to do your part, you cant be lazy about it either. Our biggest fight is against our flesh as the flesh is not saved, its your spirit that is saved. God gave us the weapons of our warfare which is contained in His Word which is called the Bible which I suggest you study to find all the answers you need.
