Because He did what was expected of Him, to put only the will of the Father first. He had much will to follow but He gave us only two commandments, Put the Father's will first, thus loving all as self. Inthe same way He said truth comes only from God and not from man, hence that would be the foundation His church was built upon.He IS the way! He IS the door! No man can come to our Father but by Him!
Certainly, by rejecting the backwards ways of man in favour of the will of God. 'Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven'.You must be born again. For it is the Holy Spirit who works in you to will and to do His pleasure.

You can't do it without the indwelling Holy Spirit in you. There are believers who do not have the Holy Spirit indwelling them because the importance of it is rarely taught. In Acts there were believers who did not even know there WAS the Holy Spirit when they were asked if they had received Him.And if you believe, you will follow the two commandments Jesus gave to us.
How can you repent/change if you don't know what it is you repent of?
The Mosaic laws of sacrifice were not in place until God gave them at Sinai.Not so the story of Cain and Abel tells us that the cerimonial law was in place as offerings were brought to the LORD
I said sin and death reigned until the Law was given through Moses. THEN, sin could be atoned for through the animal sacrifice system. There was no legislation in place carrying the death penalty (as did the law in the Garden and the Mosaic law) from Adam to Moses and, therefore, no sin against legislation as the cause of death from the Garden to Moses.

God giving them personal instruction is not the same as promulgated legislation/law, carrying the death penalty for violation, as was the law in the Garden and the law given at Sinai for a complete sacrificial system.so had did cain and able know to bring a sacrifice to the LORD?
