LOL, you are afraid to read the Bible in context and say what it says.
If you refuse to read the Bible in context and say what it says, then it is your ears and eyes that refuse God's word.
I have made my point. Go to bed and think about what God's word says.
This doesn't show He chose you to salvation. It's all a lottery pick to be chosen according to Calvinist. And if He just chose you to follow Him, how can we believe anything you say?
Matthew 22:13-14New King James Version (NKJV)
13 Then the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
14 “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
The ones not chosen go to hell, while the ones who remain with the King (Christ) are chosen.
Emsw your in direct conflict with the scripture, again, God chose for salvation certain people.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-17New King James Version (NKJV)
Stand Fast
13 But we are bound to give thanks to God always for you, brethren beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth, 14 to which He called you by our gospel, for the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. 15 Therefore, brethren, stand fast and hold the traditions which you were taught, whether by word or our epistle.
16 Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace, 17 comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work.
These weren't called for salvation; these were called to the wedding.
But, let's say they are called for salvation. The word call means invited. Everyone is invited to salvation. In the parable, we see many who were first invited, through their own free choice, did not attend the wedding after being invited. They started making excuses to not attend. So the king says they are not worthy and destroyed them. Could you please tell us who the first ones invited were? And please tell us why God's invitation for salvation was thwarted?
When these who were first invited did not come, the king told his servants to go into the highways and as many as they find, invite to the wedding. In other words, invite as many as they could find to salvation. The good and the bad were invited and came to the wedding. However, when the king came to see the guests, one did not have a wedding garment on. We see this man did not prepare himself for the wedding. He did not put on the 'new' garments provided by the king. Instead, he entered the wedding with his 'old' garments on.
I would like to see what you all think represents the wedding garment, and why the one without the wedding garment was cast into outer darkness. He was certainly called, and he answered the call, but he was not chosen.
There is a parallel parable in Luke 14, which speaks of being called to be a disciple of Christ. There Jesus tells us that if we do not bear our own cross, and come after Him, we cannot be His disciple. Some on here do not believe a disciple of Jesus is saved. I would like to see other's thoughts on this.
So you believe that there will be unredeemed at the wedding? These weren't called for salvation; these were called to the wedding.
Can you answer my question before asking another? Thanks. So you believe the redeemed will be tied hand and foot and cast into outer darkness?
No it's not. I try not to answer a question with a question (though I'm not perfect).Isn't that your method of answering?
If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander.
How does the parable support a Calvinist viewpoint? The wedding garments the chosen ones wear are the righteousness of Christ.

Because only the ones who were supposed to be there were dragged there. The one who showed up on his own was kicked out.How does the parable support a Calvinist viewpoint?

Do you believe there will be unredeemed at the wedding?
Because only the ones who were supposed to be there were dragged there. The one who showed up on his own was kicked out.
Not according to the parable. It doesn't say he showed up on his own; he was called (invited) by the king's servants.
Not according to the parable.
I see you can't prove you were chosen for salvation. We will leave it there. Prove you were chosen, then believers can have fellowship with believers.
I see you have moved the goal posts and refused to read God's word in both Romans and Ephesians.MennSota, until you can prove to us, you have been chosen for salvation, then there is nothing any of us can say which will convince you of the truth.
This is irrelevant. Stop moving the goal posts, Ew.Oh yeah sdowney, can you prove you were chosen to salvation?
This is getting tough for you, isn't it.Isn't that your method of answering?
If it's good for the goose, it's good for the gander.
I'm reading it. The ones invited didn't come. (Read the verses that come before.)Are you reading Little Red Riding Hood?
Matthew 22
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guests.
