  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is not my job to do your homework for you. I back up everything I say with a link and a source. Is this a personal attack? Sure sounds like it to me.

A Joshua_1_9 claim is a lot like a greased monkey in a tag match. Just about the time you pin them down to actually making a claim that can be falsified or verified they will slip out from under that claim or tag their partner with an alternate claim.

Do you really think that babies just pop into existence by magic?
At what point does a baby come into existence?

If one second it is a fetus,* and the next it is a baby, at what point does this spontaneous generation occur?

Is that sarcasm?

Do you really think that babies just pop into existence by magic?

I meant that everything is supernatural, but there's so much of it that it all seems quite 'natural'.

It should be obvious that I don't suspect creationist to be able to decode even less make any sense from these diagrams.

We would never expect you to make such an attempt anyway.

Your baby's genes are determined from the moment the sperm and egg meet. The embryo is develops into a fetus which develops into a baby. If there was a miscarriage then the baby would need to develop in Heaven. They say time is different in Heaven so when you get there you can raise your baby yourself.

You can see why Jesus taught the way he did with parables. Some things stick with people more then other points they maybe trying to make.

look i updated my post on how to see genesis chapter 1, you don't need to see it through eyes of Noah, because you can see it through "The Key" the Key = what is a week in science, a week is time, what is time in science? http://www.biblehub.com/kjv/genesis/1-14.htm
believe in first page of bible, then believe in Jesus the risen Lord. cause he's around man.

what is time in science?
Time had to change with the railroad. Before the railroad it did not matter if the time was different in different places. But with the railroad if your going to run on time then everyone had to be running on the same clock. This is when Einstein stepped in with a new concept of time. We now know that time is relative.

What a real nested set looks like.

2famtree.gif

Notice in every case observed in the real world, versus fantasy theory, it takes two - count them two - to produce another. One being NEVER splits into two branches through evolution of one into the other. It is ALWAYS two branches that merge into one. There is no missing imaginary link between two different infraspecific taxa of the same species - let alone separate species.

But in direct opposition to what is observed, they try to pass this reverse nested tree off as science.

Nope - happens by the recombination of genomes from (two) infraspecific taxa. If they are the same infraspecific taxa (Asian and Asian) an Asian baby will be born. If they are of different infraspecific taxa (Asian and African) a new infraspecific taxa (Afro-Asian) will be born. And it sure didn't happen from mutation or evolution.

Prove that it didn't happen from mutation.

"J.B.S. Haldane proposed in 1947 that the male germline may be more mutagenic than the female germline1. Diverse studies have supported Haldane's contention of a higher average mutation rate in the male germline in a variety of mammals, including humans2, 3. Here we present, to our knowledge, the first direct comparative analysis of male and female germline mutation rates from the complete genome sequences of two parent-offspring trios. Through extensive validation, we identified 49 and 35 germline de novo mutations (DNMs) in two trio offspring, as well as 1,586 non-germline DNMs arising either somatically or in the cell lines from which the DNA was derived."

The real science demonstrates that children are born with 35-50 mutations.

Loud, I have NEVER denied those 35-50 mutations that occur, in which most have no effect thank God!!

Well, you know, if maybe someone with one of them edjacashins can answer my question, we could put this at rest.

When does a fetus suddenly become a person?

(And please note I said "suddenly." I'm not asking for the microsecond, but just the second or minute or even day will do.)

Didn't God kill every single baby in the world? Fetus or not. So this isn't nearly as bad as what God did.
