That is not how I used it. I did not use the name of the other poster's deity and "decapitalize" it. I used the generic noun for deities "god" and made it specific to the other poster by using the relational word "your" as a modifier. I would do the same when referring to their male parent as "your father". If I wrote "fred" that would be disrespectful. I could have written the same thing to any believer with any god. If I actually use that three letter word as a proper name (which I rarely do) I would capitalize it as "God". (It works better this way. I can get dizzy keeping track of which poster has which god.)
