CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yes. Especially miniature horses. I once worked as a keeper at the local zoo, and one day the italian donkey got out and tried molesting the miniature horse. I accidently broke a broomstick over the donkey's back trying to get it off the horse.

Yes, I love horses. I have had three horses over a continual span of 45years, owning the three Joshua, black gelding, Peter: bay gelding and Amos: pinto gelding. For a time I had the three together for a few years. Joshua and Amos were both 2year olds (did all their training )when I got them and Peter was retired from harness racing and reschooled under saddle.
They were all with me for life. Amos, being the last was pts in 2015 at 36 years old. Fit and ridden until 32 and retired sound and well.
Funnily I named them biblical names before being a Christian!
It has been a very hard thing to adjust to not having a horse after so long. They were a much loved part of my life and I loved caring for them as much as riding them.
I am 60 now and believe they taught me so much: patience, responsibility, how to put another's welfare above mine, kindness, compassion and quietness (you can't be loud and forceful or bullying) gentleness, love and how to not want material things (couldn't afford stuff for myself,but didn't care!)
I miss them all but cherish the times we had and what we shared together.
The fact that such a powerful, strong animal Will, with kindness, do anything for you and be so gentle and entrusting of you is so humbling.
They are a glorious creation of God.

I like horses and help out at a horse farm cleaning stalls,but am scared to learn to ride them.

I like horses along with many other animals. 
I don't remember ever being near a real horse, but I've seen them from a distance. I also have two plush horses and some horse figures.

For a little while, when I was a teen, I enjoyed cantering with a horse (I think she was a former racehorse but I could be wrong). It was pretty fun. She did have some odd fears and narcolepsy though. But I prefered her to the other horses.
I haven’t really ridden horses much as an adult - maybe 2 times. But I admire them every day when I drive by them.
I’ve never owned one, just have ridden friends horses.

I grew up with horses. My family owned a small ranch and I was in 4-H. Grew up raising them, training them, showing them, and riding them to the nearby mountains and spending all day by myself in the woods on horseback as a teen.
Then I got my driver's license and fell in love with cars.
But I'd still go for rides when I'd come home on leave from the military...
My folks still have two horses and a mule.
When I got divorced and moved back to Idaho, I thought I'd get back into it and rescued a medicine hat paint named Ditto (she was a twin).
Very sweet 11yr old mare that was allowed to roam free around the woods near a run down trailer. Took her to my parent's place and got her all of her shots and vet treatments, feet trimmed, got her a pretty saddle, and her health back to normal.
Rode her a couple of times, but really didn't have enough time to spend training her and quickly realized how much money I was wasting on a large pet. Sold her to a trainer who spent a year training her and then sold her to a good home.
