Horrible!

My cousin sent me a disturbing video tape of two people being murdered. I heard it was called snuff, but those are said to be fake. This one has two so-called murders on it and the first is very close up...I'm kind of nauseous after seeing it, but I would like you all to pray for the people who did this and the people that are downloading this. I had no idea what it was until I got it, now I wish the pictures would go away. Please, please pray.

That must have been very disturbing, even traumatizing for you. Is your cousin a Christian? Why did he/she send such a terrible thing to you?

I'm glad that you're praying for the very confused, disturbed people that created that video. I will, too.

Read the Bible! Or, try to distract yourself with a fictional book, lose yourself in it. That works if you're a reader. Watch your favorite movie, or a movie that you know will be wholesome. A comedy would be good.

Talk to someone you feel safe and comfortable with face-to-face, or PM someone here about what you felt when you saw the movie. You can PM me, if you'd like. Then talk to your cousin.

Pray for yourself! Satan has done this to make you feel bad. Don't let him win.

first you need to bring the video to the police. you have a moral obligation to do that. then keep praying my friend. The horrible images in your mind will be with you for a while, that is awful to hear. I know that you just want them to go away...once I read a newspaper article about the rape of a girl, it was so graphic and detailed, I was left incredibly disturbed. I had nightmares, but it was an assignment for a sociology class, and part of my masters in psychology...so I had no choice, and there is no psycho analysis in the world worth the sleepless nights I encountered. horrible yes. I am praying for you and for those people involved. If you need to talk about it, I am here. you may need to seek counseling, this is very traumatic indeed. I am praying sweetheart. By the way, how did you know it was fake? Amie might be right; you may be better safe than sorry and take it to the police. I think it may have been fiction, though.

I know just how you feel!!!! I recently came across a video of Daniel Pearl being murdered. There was NO way I wanted to see that! Many people were saying Americans NEED to see it to understand why were are doing what we are doing. Well I remember Sept 11th and don't think I will ever forget. I don't need to see that stuff and prayed that others would stop from watching also.

There are many sites with this kind of stuff on them. I avoid it like the plague, and for good reason. Many people that I talked to who watched them, said they wish they could erase it from their minds, and that something about them will never be the same.

I hope they get some clorox for their souls!

Thanks everyone, I feel alot better, and I was seriously considering taking it to the police, but I have no way of getting it off of my computer without the right equipment. So I deleted it. And I did talk to my cousin, first I told him to NEVER send me anything like that again. I then told him that there is a chance that it could be real, and even if it isn't, it is still extremely evil and graphic, and don't watch it ever again. He got freaked out, so that's good, I don't think he'll ever watch it again. He probably deleted it, but anyhow, to answer psycmajor's question:

No, I don't think he's a Christian, and I have NO idea why he sent that tape to me in the first place. I mean, after I got it I kind of wanted others to see so I wouldn't feel those images burning into my head alone. Thankfully I didn't even try to send it to anyone else though. I guess my cousin was thinking the same thing I was about it. So, I don't know where to go from here. It really scared me when I showed it to my dad and brother and they didn't realize how sick and evil it was to begin with, not including the fact that it might be real. I guess my family has been desensitized to all of it. That's a very bad thing, please pray for them too. Once again, thank you everyone for your prayers! God bless you all!
