No matter how much we try to understand how our persecuted brethren live day by day, we are not experiencing what they are.

Praying for our persecuted brethren. May they all know the warmth of our Dear Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as they endure.

Is there a chance we could take them out of that place?

The Bible does tell us to move to another place if we are being persecuted in our curent place. Unfortunately, a citizen of many Muslim countries have great difficulty, if not impossible to get VISAs or options for immigration for Western Christian countries.

The political asylum option isn't free for all. An option is to give these Christians a "direct hire" working VISA option if can be proven to have skills needed for the industry, however, it won't cover anyone and most companies won't do it unless they badly needed staff.

How can you get these Christians to Western Christian countries?? If they can't move out to western countries by themselves, we need to help them because St. John told use to help our brothers and sisters in need as proof that we love God. And he means real help that would require us to use the resources we have in addition to prayers.

Ideally we need to support and protect them to stay in their own lands and have the church grow there. Many are hearing the truth of Christ in displacement/refugee camps and of course, most wish to return to their own lands. Naturally, our hearts say 'Bring them here!' but it could well be that it is God's divine, perfect plan that the church now grow in the Middle East. I pray the truth will be heard by every ear and the Holy Name of Lord Jesus Christ praised with every tongue.

I agree but what are the resources we have in addition to prayers?

We can't stay if we are being persecuted and rejected.

Matthew 10:23
When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Matthew 10:14
If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.

Many of the persecuted brethren remain to spread the gospel and plant home churches.

I agree but what are the resources we have in addition to prayers?

St. John in the Bible said, to use the "resources of this world" that we have to help our brothers and sisters in need.

Things we have like money or power or influence/connections or even things/possessions we have that could help them.

Interestingly, John said nothing about praying for them (but of course we should still pray for them!) but the fact he mentioned using resources of this world highlights the greater importance of providing tangible help to our brothers and sisters in distress than just our prayers.

That is the sign we truly love our brothers and sisters and love God. Faith without action is dead. Of course, if you are poor, there's about nothing you can do but offer your prayers.

Perhaps, they didn't know those verses I quoted...

Flee to the next town if persecuted, leave immediately if rejected.... Those are the instructions given to us by Christ in the Bible.....

If you think about it, if you keep moving, you will cover more ground and possibly have more people hear the Gospel....

If they are hearing a different message that contradicts what Christ instucted, it is possible they are being deceived....Our enemy wants us dead....And we are more likely to be killed if we don't move about in a place hostile to Christians.

Not only are we not bringing our persecuted brothers and sisters to us we (in the EU) are actively sending them back. Of course, claiming Christianity is not going to make much impression on atheist governmental asylum and immigration agencies. Christianity may be the dominant faith but many of the EU land governments are not impacted by faith. One can better claim homosexuality or transgenderism to gain sympathy in Northern Europe.


“European countries and the European Union have remained wilfully blind to these dangers, and are putting tremendous pressure on Afghanistan to accept large numbers of returns. Returns are increasing, even as dangers in the country have become more severe. To effect these returns, European countries have arbitrarily called some areas of Afghanistan ‘safe,’ including Kabul, which is currently the most dangerous part of the country for civilians.”

Around 10,000 Afghans were deported from Europe last year, three times as many as in 2015. Germany sent the most – 3,440.

That is sad to hear. Perhaps, more pressure to the Gov't to begin looking at people as people, not according to market value.

Immigration is only accommodating to Westerners and highly skilled people because they bring money in....

It's all about the money these days :(
