Yeah whatever. You can't win an argument with a liberal. All you can do is tell me I am a hater. Same old same old. I don't necessarily think the people are evil but the so called religion of Islam is the definition of evil ! That's why one cannot win an argument with a fanatic: they cannot even consider that they might be "haters". They cannot consider that they might be, even slightly, in the wrong. Question for the atheists on this forum. So far as I understand evolutionary theory, it's essentially survival of the fittest. Species adapt and change given their particular environment in ways that are supposed to make them thrive. Adaptations that are not helpful for survival typically result in the particular animal dying and not passing that adaptation along.

Homosexuals cannot reproduce. Why shouldn't we view people born homosexual as an anomaly that works against the evolution of our species and hope that in time this "gene" or whatever it is goes away? From a purely evolutionary understanding of nature, I don't see how homosexuality is beneficial for mankind.

You do realise that its not genetic right?
Eg a gay male who donates sperm to a lesbian does not propagate a homosexual child. Youre somehow trying to link eradication of a gay gene by virtue of the "survival of the fittest" model of evolution..... except there is NO gay gene.

As a homosexual male maybe I can shine some light on your misconceptions. Homosexuality does not require someone to engage in sex. I can be attracted to a man and love him without ever having sexual relationships with him (Though I think sex is an important part in a healthy relationship). Also I'm not trying to reproduce when I'm having sex. Sex has more usages than just reproduction.
