Right, I get that, I was talking about quirks statement about dogma.

I know I'm intelligent, however, I'm not so unbelievably self-absorbed that I feel a need to inspire people on a public forum with my Liberal views. And I highly doubt at the end of a thread, people are inspired by my posts. Do I doubt that some may agree with me? No. But I'm not so blinded that I justify being discriminitory by hiding behind [falsely interpreted] dogma.

How does one determine that the dog is routinely engaging in homosexual activity when it is as prone to humping my leg, a coffee table, or another male dog?

Depends on the source cited as to the number of observed homosexual practicing species... there are certainly a lot of them though.

Now, I'm up for diuscussing in a calm and rational way inter species behavioral similarities and their implications on morality if you like, however the point of my post was to correect the previous posters contention that somehow, "dumb animals have it worked out that homosexuality is wrong"...

Some animals are monogomous, others aren't... it is always poor to ascribe human ethics to other species, as if we are identical, but I'm happy to discuss the various ramifications if you like.

Again, nerve endings in the anus? yes, nerve endings have several potential functions, yet the previous poster was making an argument from design, saying the anus only has one function... well, if true, there are a bunch of nerve endings there that seem to have nothing to do with defecation, so... you know... since he has all the answers, why are they there?
