Please dont bore them with overwhelming evidence from GODS words that shows in EVERY case that marriage is a man and woman and that in EVERY case that same gender sex is mentioned it is condemned. Please don't bore them with facts and evidence. That might get in the way of their preconceived notions of what they want to believe based on absolutely no evidence except ill conceived opinions.
I think you mean humans are mammals? And I don't think animal behavior has anything to do with human behavior. It's a straw man and silly.
Apparently you dont know how this works.I look forward to the forthcoming goal post shift, however...
SO.....WHAT ?God created animals, according to the Bible. Some of those animals display bi and homosexual traits as well as heterosexual ones.
This is as ridiculous as saying God created satan so therefore God created sin.....God created the rapist so therefore God created rape....preposterous.Therefore, if God created animals, and some animals are homosexual, then God created homosexuality, and thus, homosexual sex. QED.
Based on the fact that the authors of the Bible knew barely a thing about biology, that verse doesn't really carry much weight. How does one define "flesh"? It certainly isn't skin, as many other animals have skin. And since man is an animal, we don't biologically have different flesh.
That goal post shift I was talking about? Ladies and gentlemen, I present it here...Your church disagrees with you. Again, God created animals of a different flesh.
1 Cor 15:39
39All flesh is not the same: Men have one kind of flesh, animals have another, birds another and fish another.
Your logical premise above fails because, although God did create animals, He created them of a different flesh and therefore, morally separate from humans. Read your bible.
How about we stick with natural urges that humans share with animals, rather than your straw herring? (thats where a red herring and a strawman argument combine, I just made it up, but I think it suits)Apparently you dont know how this works.
WE make the assertion that Gods word is AGAINST homosexuality and the burden of proof is on us to support that assertion...
Homosexuality
YOU make the assertion that Gods somehow allows homosexuality and the burden of proof is on YOU to support that view.
NONE of you have shown a single thing that supports the idea that GOD is ok with homosexuality.
WE, however, HAVE given clear support that Gods word DOES teach against same gender sexual relations and at least one of you has already admitted that fact.
Homosexuality
SO.....WHAT ?
-SOME animals eat their own young.....you saying we can do that too ?
-SOME animals fling their own feces....maybe I ought to try this one
-Some animals EAT their feces......I suppose we ought to look into this snack?
Your point is without meaning until you use the SAME reasoning to justify man doing EVERYTHING that some animal does....
This is as ridiculous as saying God created satan so therefore God created sin.....God created the rapist so therefore God created rape....preposterous.
When in doubt, the "Are you calling God a liar?!" bluster is always handy.Yep, I guess the Holy Spirit just told them wrong. Jase, is God wrong? Do you think that God knows a thing or two about biology? Or do you think that us mere humans can define what God created better than God?
1 Corinthians 2:14How about we stick with natural urges that humans share with animals, rather than your straw herring? (thats where a red herring and a strawman argument combine, I just made it up, but I think it suits)
Thats nice.1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
If some one (say a pastor or preist) came up to you and told you you could not marry for a reason because they had discerned it on a spritual basis would you agree.?1 Corinthians 2:14

How many pastors have been held in good standing and proven to have been deceitful? If they were held in good standing by the church, yes. There would be no cause to fabricate that.
Interesting... since Paul clearly held that marriage was, at best, the lesser of two possible evils, and felt that abstinence was spiritually preferable. I wonder if you have ever given Paul's call for general celibacy anything more than the briefest hypothetical consideration? If they were held in good standing by the church, yes. I understand that.Fails the 1 Corinthians 2:14 verse test, because we are supposed to receive the knowledge from the Spirit and not from an intermediary. That said, if said pastor told said lady that she could not marry for a reason, and the Holy Spirit confirmed it to said lady, then it would definitely be true.

Who do you trust ?
Ah... and here you stumble onto an interesting conundrum... if God has such a problem with homosexuality, why are there all these Christian homosexuals who sincerely pray for guidance who never recieve word from the Holy Spirit that there is anything wrong with their sexuality?Fails the 1 Corinthians 2:14 verse test, because we are supposed to receive the knowledge from the Spirit and not from an intermediary.
