::Waving hello::
It's nice to meet everyone. I've been searching for a good online Christian community and it seems like this might be the place. I'm a super-friendly sort and encourage people to PM me so I can get to know you better.
I'm also a baby Christian, as they say. I've always been ever-so-close to opening the door, but something always held me back. This past summer, the Lord guided my family to a new house 40 miles across town to a little bitty town on the Galveston Bay (that's in Texas) and then led me straight to a new church. I was welcomed there with open arms and smiling faces and 4-weeks later found myself praying with the pastor to accept Jesus as my savior. My DH is a Christian and was glad to see me become one, although he was hesitant to believe me at first. (He doesn't always go to church with us yet.
) Considering how far away I had turned from God previously, I can't say that I blame him though. At least I found my way home though. Praise the Lord for that.
Since then it's been a nonstop rollercoaster for us in life. Everything seems to be going downhill and then just stops and gets better instead. Even more so since I finally said enough and took the leap of faith that I'd been having problems taking. LOL Last week, my 10 yr old son accepted Jesus into his own life and I feel so happy I could just burst.
